REGARDING TO DOWNGRAING OCFS FROM 1.0.14-1 TO 1.0.9-12
Hi, all.
My name is Kenichiro Ochi, in Oracle Japan Support.
Customer examines upgrading OCFS from 1.0.9-12 to 1.0.14-1.
And customer asked us a question about the way of downgrading to 1.0.9-12.
(customer presumes a case in case after the upgrade.)
We tested the following...
0.After the upgrade
1.umount OCFS volume on all nodes
2.uninstall rpm (V1.0.14-1)
# rpm -e ocfs-tools-1.0.10-1
# rpm

Configure deliver to add ', S=<size>' to maildir message name
Hi,
I want to use the zlib plugin to compress my mail storage. According to
the wiki, only messages with size attribute in the message id should by
compressed. If I added the size part, dovecot assumes it is a new message.
While dovecot undertands the ',S=<size>' attribute (IMAP shows that
size), I could not configure deliver to add the size to message name.
I'm using

Problem connecting between debian and Ubuntu
Hi,
I've two computers, one with Debian the other with Ubuntu.
The Debian computer has v1.0.14, the Ubuntu v1.0.11. They
do not manage to connect with error "wrong keylength": the
Ubuntu computer sends a 512 byte key to the Debian computer
which expects a 256 byte key.
Is it expected ?
Is there a configuration option somewhere that I've set
differently on

dovecot-auth assertion failed
Hello,
I have been running some tests on a new Dovecot v1.0.13 server and have seen the following message appear in the logs a few times. It appears to occur when there are a lot of requests being sent to the LDAP servers from both Dovecot and Sendmail (I am guessing about this, since I have also seen "Server busy" messages regarding LDAP auth).

dovecot-deliver auth-master error
Hi all,
I'm trying to get the sieve plugin to work, but with little result. I'm
following http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA, http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Postfix
and http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve
but it won't work. As I have virtual users from several virtual domains, I
added the "virtual users - with lookup" section from
http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA, but now dovecot fails

(1.0.13) fsync failed: Disk quota exceeded for some accounts
Hello all,
We've recently migrated the mail server used by our 5000 students, from
Tru64/UW-IMAP/Procmail/Postfix/mbox to Debian Etch/Dovecot/Deliver/Postfix/Maildir
E-mails are not stored directly on the server (except for index and control files), but on an NAS
that exports the students' homedirs on NFS. Each student has a 100MB quota on the NAS.
Here is the configuration :

Ocfs and EMC Powerpath
A couple years ago, we moved to Oracle RAC on Linux using ocfs that is
SAN attached to an EMC CLARiiON. At the time, there was a reason that we
did NOT use EMC's Powerpath (I just can't recall what that reason was).
What I'd like to know is if there are any issues with introducing
Powerpath now.

AGI execution after Dial
Hello,
I'm currently developing a simple asterisk application using SFS (Skype For
SIP) which tries to call to an outbound number, play a message and read DMTF
digits. My first approach used the Manager to originate calls and then
called an
agi script to deal with the rest. Anyway, this ended up being not so clear
because the call did not start on the Originate extension that it was

uid transition and post-auth privsep (WAS Re: possible fundamental problem with tru64 patch) (fwd)
What do we loose by not having post-auth privsep?
What code is executed between authorization and actual setting of the
effective uid?

Allow_nets + MySQL failing when using range notation
Hello all,
I am testing my dovecot installation in order to restrict access via
POP3 for IPs outside my network. I have read and understood the
instructions in the wiki and I have reached a configuration that works
ONLY when single IPs are listed in allow_nets but not when ranges in the
notation x.x.x.x/y are listed. Some examples should be more explanatory.
I am using 1.0.rc15 patched as

the at command
I was trying to use the 'at' command.
Does it not have "resolution" to the second?
When I run it with 'at -f /tmp/tt.sh "01/21/2013 15:20:45"
syntax error. Last token seen: 15:20
Garbled time
How do I run a command in the future including "seconds".
Thanks,

Patch for Digital Unix SIA authentication
A while back, I sent in a patch that added Digital Unix SIA
authentication to OpenSSH. Well, I just figured out that it didn't
handle everything correctly (locked accounts could still log in). I
thought I had checked that, but I guess I missed it.
Anyway, here is a patch against OpenSSH 2.2.0p1 that fixes this.

v1.0.14 released
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.0/dovecot-1.0.14.tar.gz
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.0/dovecot-1.0.14.tar.gz.sig
Since v1.1.0 release is getting near, this could well be the last v1.0
release. I'll still fix important bugs, but if the bugfix is large or
affects only few people it'll probably get fixed only in v1.1 releases.
