PADLOCK asterisk 1.6
Hi all, There is a feature very common in PBX called PADLOCK , and I'd like to set up it on Asterisk 1.6. I have seen it in the internet but such scripts never work to me. I am trying to do something like that:Create a password and associate it with the callerid: exten => _*11*xxxx,1,Set(DB(CADASTRA/${CALLERID(num)})=${EXTEN:4}) Create a flag in order to verify later if PADLOCK is ON

[LLVMdev] MC X86 lacking support for hyphenated VIA Padlock instructions
I was wondering if someone with more familiarity with MC on X86 could consider looking into adding support for the hyphenated versions of the VIA Padlock instructions? If anyone is up for it there are details within these two bug reports.. http://www.llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=8556 http://www.llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=10266 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous

OpenSSH performance with VIA padlock
Hello list, please spend a minute considering these facts and maybe there is something to improve: 1) VIA Eden based board can write AES256 encrypted information on HDD at > 60MB/s 2) iperf shows NIC speed 69MB/s 3) openssl tests have even better results 4) openssh can transfer AES256 encrypted information at < 27MB/s (and worse with HDD encryption) It is better with openssh 5.x, than

Logging on the rsync server from a client connect
Please forgive me for the really dumb question following. I am a complete newbie to rsync. I have been trying to set up an rsync server and am unable to get any logging. I need to know if the following is possible. I'm rsyncing from the client and connecting with ssh to an rsync server. I can connect just fine and the files go with no problem. I'm going from a RedHat 7.3 with rsync

VIA C3 Nehemiah Locks Up
Hello, I've got an EPIA-M series motherboard in a system that has locked up twice under random conditions. Nothing is logged to the console or logs, the system just hangs. The system is installed with CentOS 4.4 and running the 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL i686 kernel. I am aware that older C3 processors had the CMOV problem, but that is resolved in the later boards (procinfo below). I've seen a

FW: Logging on the rsync server from a client connect
-----Original Message----- From: Susan Ator Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 12:32 PM To: 'jw schultz' Subject: RE: Logging on the rsync server from a client connect Thanks. It turns out I needed to add rsync to my ipchains. Once I did that I was able to connect correctly and log the information. I knew it was something really really basic on my end. sa -----Original Message-----

10th anniversary of tinc 1.0
Hello everyone, Today is exactly 10 years ago that tinc 1.0 was released. I would have hoped to celebrate this by releasing 1.0.22 and 1.1pre8 today, but this will instead happen in one week. Tinc 1.1 is close to becoming stable, and I hope to release 1.1.0 before the end of the year. The main features of tinc 1.1 are the improved security over tinc 1.0, and a much nicer interface that makes it

guest boot randomly fails to load sky2 kernel module? restart usually clears it up.
i''m running Xen Host & Guest, both version xen-4.1.2/64-bit. i pass through an ethernet NIC from host to guest. it uses the standard Marvell ''sky2'' kernel module. when i start the guest, usually -- but not always -- the NIC gets properly passed through and setup, and is completely usable. if i shutdown & restart the Guest, sometimes -- maybe 20% of the time?

OpenSSL ENIGNE support for OpenSSH
Hi all, attached is a patch that enables using hardware crypto accelerators available through OpenSSL library for SSH operations. Especially in ssh/sshd it can bring a significant speed improvement. OTOH if no crypto engine is available, nothing bad happens and default software crypto routines are used. This patch is used in SUSE Linux OpenSSH package and proved to work (at least it didn't

Virtualization + CPU w/crypto acceleration instructions
In a virtualized environment running Xen or VMware, can the guest operating systems utilize hardware crypto acceleration such as the "PadLock" AES acceleration built into VIA CPUs? (Wasn't able to find this info in any of ~400 Google hits, so I'm shooting it out a bit to let as many as possible benefit from the answer.)
