Retrieving data from a tcl /tk function

I am sorry if this is an answered question, but I did my homework for a long while and couldn't figure out a way to retrieve data entry from a model dialog. In one of the examples compiled by James Wettenhall:

tcl/tk bind destroy event
Hello!
I want to create a messagebox whenever the user wants to destroy the window
(e.g. <Alt-F4> or the 'x' in the right top corner) and ask if a modified file
should be saved or not.
If 'cancel' is chosen then nothing should happen and the windows still should be
existing. This doesn't work. When I press cancel the window will be destroyed
although.

How to call stored procedure on iodbc
Hi all,
I am getting a problem in calling Stored Procedure from C++
application on macintosh using OpenLink.
Exact scenario is that my stored procedure takes 6 parameters out of
which 1 parameter is out parameter and other 5 are input parameters.
So it uses 5 IN parameters as values for inserting a row in database
and returns its max id as out parameter.

small Window.i patch
Hi
Attached a small patch to Window.i which prevents it crashing when
find_window_by_name, find_window_by_id or find_window_by_label should
return nil.
This fixes this bug (which I think was originally posted to wxruby 0.6.0)

disappearing dialog boxes when using tcltk
Dear all,
I'm trying to use tcltk to build a small
user-interface and couter the problem:
It seems that sometimes the dialog box will be
minimized automatically though I want it to be on top
of the screen all the time.

64-bit, involving 'tcltk' and 'cairoDevice' or 'RGtk2'. They make it
very difficult to use tcltk interfaces (Rcmdr) and GTK+ ones (rattle,

Hello,
I have a question concerning llvm-c.
I have set up a function that needs to invoke an external method, in a other library. It has the following signature: void* NSFullUserName(void);
The void* can be replaced with a i8*, that far I was able to get, but when my call is invoked, the engine gives me the following message:
LLVM ERROR: Tried to execute an unknown external function: i8* ()*
