[imaptest] Explaining errors
Hi, I'm an Apache James committer and we are curious to use imaptest in order to validate our IMAP protocol implementation. I'm using the nightlybuild : imaptest-20170506 I follow the examples given in the /T/ /est IMAP server compliancy/ examples https://imapwiki.org/ImapTest/Examples. And I wanted to analyse the errors reported, here are some: Error: user1 at james.org[11]: seq too

Vegemite Function is Cowardly refusing
R version 3.2.2. library(vegan) I was to look at community tables from my dendrograms and am trying out the vegemite command. This is the error I get: Error in vegemite(apst, apst.clusters) : Cowardly refusing to use longer than 1 char symbols: Use scale I thought the problem was that I was using the log transformed data, but I tried it on the raw (which is single digit numbers), and still

extracting groups from hclust() for a very large matrix
Hello, I'm having trouble figuring out how to see resulting groups (clusters) from my hclust() output. I have a very large matrix of 4371 plots and 29 species, so simply looking at the graph is impossible. There must be a way to 'print' the results to a table that shows which plots were in what group, correct? I've attached the matrix I'm working with (the whole thing

Heat Map for species - code from Numerical Ecology with R
Hello, I am relatively new to R and I am working through the code that is provided in the book Numerical Ecology with R and I have run across an error message that I can't seem to figure out. I am using the vegan, ade4, gclus and cluster packages. The code is as follows: # Ordered community table # Species are ordered by their weighted averages on site scores or <- vegemite(spe,

imaptest-20130617 seems to be reporting spurious header changes
I'm trying to use this to test an IMAP server I'm developing (I picked the nightly up from the link on the wiki page at http://www.imapwiki.org/ImapTest/Installation). With one client using the mailbox dovecot-crlf (http://www.dovecot.org/tmp/dovecot-crlf) I get messages like: Error: test at npsl.co.uk[67]: 1035253882.5041.34.camel at hurina: Header From changed 'Timo Sirainen

1.08 + quota-rewrite has no trash plugin
I think I'm just going to move to 1.1 - however, I'm not keen on installing all the dev tools necessary on a production box. Does anyone have any pointers to web pages or keywords I can check to see what kind of safeguards are needed. The problem I have is building the the srpm to include the quota-rewrite with the trash plugin. I think it has been removed and I wanted to check if anyone

Create time changing by itself?
Are there some known problems related to ctime changing by itself? I didn't find anything with google at least. tar seems to be complaining about it all the time: [cras@hurina] ~% tar cf test.tar /mnt/cygwin/home tar: Removing leading `/' from member names tar: /mnt/cygwin/home/Timo Sirainen/xxx/xxxxx.xxx: file changed as we read it This happens with my Debian/unstable (samba

v2.0.9 -segfault in lib21_fts_solr_plugin.so (G.Nau)
Interesting since imap_acl also makes dovecot segfault. Maybe there is a problem in the way Dovecot loads plugins? 3 basic questions
I have 3 basic questions (sorry, but R is a bit new to me) First) The following code will work on C, but something happens with R: > x<-c(0,1,1,0,0,1,0,0,1) > dim(x)<-c(3,3) > types<-numeric(3) > for (i in 1:3) { + j<-1 + while (x[i,j]!=1) j<-j+1 + if (j==4) types[i]<-0 + else types[i]<-1 + } Error: subscript out of bounds Any ideas about what is wrong?

How avoid coercion to character
Hi R-users! I'd like to know how to avoid automatic coercion of numeric variables passed to array() to character, when there is one categorical variable between others. I have tried I() function, but it is just functional in data.frame. Best Regards! Eduardo Dutra de Armas

Derivative of a function
Suppose I have a simple function that returns a matrix, such as: test <- function(x){ return(matrix(c(x,x^2,x^3,x^4),2,2)) } so that test returns: [ x x^3 ] [ x^2 x^4 ] Is it possible for me to get the derivative of an expression such as: c(1,0) %*% test() %*% c(0,1) The vectors are used just to "index" the matrix. I don't want a value, but the expression to work with

help with contrasts.
Hello list, I would like to know how can I use contrats in statistical analysis. I have a simple model, "one-way analysis of variance" "or two-way..." (balanced case). I've already used the command aov (model) to get the analysis of variance, but i know that my treatment could be organized in groups, so i would like to test these groups. Example: I have 4 treatments t1,
