Festival tts
Hi I have installed Festival on the same box as asterisk and followed the
instructions to integrate it with asterisk.
Festival seems to work fine on its own performing text to speech from the
command line or via a file.
Asterisk answers the call but there is no speech. I can see no errors in the
Festival log file
The asterisk console shows

Average skyline plot from newick trees stored
Dear all,
Does anyone know how can one loop through the newick phylogenetic trees
stored in a nexus file and generate an "average" skyline plot with
coalescent intervals?
I have managed to generate the plot with one tree, but is it possible to
create that "consensus/average" plot in R?

newbie stuck in a domain and can't get out.
All,
What is the best way for troubleshooting a w2k domain authority problem
with samba 2.2.6 on mdk 9.0. I have set smb.conf up the way various
readme's say so, but I still can't authorise in the domain. Any pointers
to different how-to most appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony.

AFS/Kerberos authentication problems on IRIX 6.5.15
With a little help, I managed to get ssh to compile. (original post
05.02.02) Now, I can login using an account that is local to the
target machine but logins with AFS accounts fail.
The details:
IRIX 6.5.15
ssh 3.1.p1
gcc 3.0.1
ssl-0.9.6c
zlib-1.1.4.
I am configuring with:
env CC=gcc CFLAGS=-g
LDFLAGS=-Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/krb4/lib,-rpath,/usr/local/ssl/lib
./configure

Problem with just one number!
I have this setup:
(PSTN E1 PRI) -- Asterisk -- (crosscable) -- Alcatel PBX --- analog phones
and a few of VoIP phones directly connected to Asterisk.
Calling a number (just one!) - an automatic responder (IVR) -
from VoIP phones works, from analog phones doesn't work:
NOANSWER after a few seconds.
I'm using no 'r' in dial options (this caused a problem with an IVR some
