pserver.netfilter.org CVS tree reorganization
--+9faIjRurCDpBc7U Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi! As many of you will have noticed already, I took the liberty to reorganize the CVS tree structure. This was needed to get a better seperation between independent parts of the project. =20 pserver.netfilter.org:/cvspublic now has the following modules:

if you install cgi programs from rpm, how to configure for actual use in /var/www/html ?
In Centos 5.5, I've had this same experience over and over. I have no trouble installing CGI programs the old fashioned way (untar into /var/www/html and configure), but don't like un-rpm managed files floating about. So I can install, for example, phpMyAdmin, from EPEL. That phpMyAdmin RPM drops files into a bunch of locations, the php files are under /usr/share/phpMysql and then

SEmodule dependency hell.
I want you all to see what I went through trying to simply reassign (unsuccessfully) the context of a well-known port. To the best of my ability to recall none of the packages mentioned below are even installed on the host in question. Why are these dependices preventing me from removing a disused SELinux policy. I have done exactly that, reassign port contexts, in the past without encountering

mediawiki-1.4.7-1.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm requirements.
Guys, I'm migrating an internal Mediawiki over to a new CentOS 4 system. The old server's running FC3 and has a tarball install, ideally I want to stick to properly packaged software as far as possible. [wmcdonald at willspc ~]$ yum deplist mediawiki Finding dependencies: Setting up repositories Reading repository metadata in from local files package: mediawiki.i386 1.4.7-1.2.el4.rf

MediaWiki to Omega
I use Omega to index and search an archive of magazine and ebook pdfs etc. I also have a Wiki (in MediaWiki) that I wanted to include in that index too. If it's any use to anybody, I've adapted dbi2omega to export the pages from MediaWiki and shared it on GitHub - search for mediawiki2omega. It doesn't do anything very clever, but it might save someone time figuring out the

wordpess can't connect to DB but mediawiki can
Hi Richard, I actually made some progress on this. The problem was SSL. Once I I took the SSL requirement out of the picture for the user everything worked. The test php script and the wordpress site both. Originally when I setup my wiki it NEEDED SSL. Because there was some sensitive data in it. My website, however, is just a goofball toy project of mine. And doesn't really need that. But

Wikipedia plots and tables?
Hello, All: What facilities exist for plots and tables of data in the standard MediaWiki software beyond the obvious standards? The standard MediaWiki tables and graphics capabilities seem to me to be rather clumsy, and I wonder if I'm missing some available extensions? The standard MediaWiki tables are described in a Wikipedia article on "Help:Table".

Pre-formatted text in the Syslinux wiki
Recently the Syslinux wiki was updated, currently using a newer version of mediawiki. "Pre-formatted" text in the Syslinux wiki is frequently being used to display commands or configuration entries. The default behavior of pre-formatted text used to be non-wrapped (among other characteristics), whereas the current default behavior is that pre-formatted text is being wrapped (just

Hey guys, I'm running both a wordpress site as well as a mediawiki off of the same web servers. The mediawiki site works great! The wordpress site, meh. Not so much. I keep getting the common database connection error: Error establishing a database connection And as far as I can tell the settings between the mediawiki site and the wordpress site are nearly identical. Here's the media

AD integration - Administrator can log in but no one else can
I have an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server that I am trying to get integrated into the company AD. The global AD administrator with the username Administrator can log in and access the shares on the samba box. No other user, even users with Administrator privileges, can. check_ntlm_password: authentication for user [Administrator] -> [Administrator] -> [WIKI\Administrator] succeeded

help with json data from the web into data frame in R
[non-tabular json data] -- ok.. so I think I need to figure out how to make it tabular. Thanks! [curl] -- I was hoping there was a cleaner way to do it.. using R to evoke cURL to get the data as text and then passing it into getJSON seems to be what I need to do. Do you by chance have an simple example of using RCurl to get a response ignoring cert errors? ty -Rich -----Original Message-----

help with json data from the web into data frame in R
Regarding the question: From the linux shell I use the "-k" switch with cURL to ignore cert errors.. is there an equivalent in the R world? I have (sometimes) had success by creating a .curlrc file and putting the necessary curl options in it. When R invokes curl, curl picks up the options. [my context was running install.packages( method='curl' ) pointing to a local
