Problem : Debian xen package removal & installation
Hi All, I'm working on Xen 3.0.2 installation upon Debian 4.1.1-13(kernel 2.6.17.13) Although I spent 2 days to set up Xen 3.0.2, it is failed to install Xen 3.0.2 with several installation manuals which I got from google. I think several trials of Xen installation made my debian system dependancy broken, so when I tried to remove xen-utils package from Debian, it made some errors as

Changing colour of continuous time-series in ggplot2
Hi, This seems like there should be a simple answer, but having spent most of the day trying to find it, I'm becoming less convinced and as such am asking it here. Here's a sub-set of my data (a data.frame in R): myDF time value trial 1 2011-03-01 01:00:00 64092 FALSE 2 2011-03-01 02:00:00 47863 FALSE 3 2011-03-01 03:00:00 43685

Icecast not listening ports?
Hey guys, First time using a mailing list, hopefully I've done it correctly. I've installed Icecast, and configured ports 8008 and 8009 in my icecast.xml file and started the server with icecast -b -c /etc/icecast.xml Icecast then loads and I can see the process in the command 'top' However, I can't access it with my domain URL, I have Shoutcast setup on this server on

BRIstuff/QuadBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all, I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns QuadBRI running in NT-mode. Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34) which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages. After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections) on some S0 spans the following message occurs

tinc generating invalid packet checksums?
We have a Zenoss server in our main office monitoring (among many other things) an Apache server in a remote network, with a Tinc link between the two networks. The monitoring simply involves making an HTTP request to a URL once every 5 minutes and confirming that a response page comes back. Most of the requests to this particular web server succeed (and similar requests to other web servers

mongrel cluster restart with capistrano fails but manually works
Hi all, I am out of my head here... I have a 3 node cluster with 10 mongrels running on each. When I deploy, I break all the mongrels every time. I have tried just about everything. I can restart my mongrels without a hitch manually, it''s only when I use cap deploy. Maybe I am missing something here... so if I can get some help it would be appreciated. The errors are the typical mongrel

BRIstuff/OctoBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all, I just posted this question before last week. Meanwhile after upgrading Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RCg to 1.0.8-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RCh the same problem occurs, but seems to be more seldom. Attached is now the output of "zap show channel" . - I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns OctoBRI running in NT-mode.

htb: rate bigger then ceil
Hi, we have upgraded a gateway machine for our network and suddenly shaping doesn''t work as it used to. Before the upgrade the traffic was shaped correctly - both OUTPUT and FORWARD packets shared the same class and it just worked. But now only FORWARD packets are shaped, OUTPUT uses whole line bandwidth. This is a piece of output from tc -s class show dev eth1: class htb 1:894 parent

Cannot print from Win2003 R2
Hi, We have a Windows 2003 R2 server (Enterprise, 64-bit, SP2) and for some reason, cannot print to our samba exported printers. I can add the printer to the system, all drivers are available, but any attempt to print results in either "Printing failed when starting document" (Firefox), "Test page failed to print." when doing a test page or just a greyed out print button

Upgrade 2.2.27 to 2.3.9.2: master(imap): net_connect_unix(imap) failed: Resource temporarily unavailable
With proctitles below. Strangely, Dovecot is reporting 12679 imap-login sockets in "pre-login" state, which is about 50% more than there are active TCP connections to the server (8271, of which 7546 are in "imap-login" process according to `ss -tp`). On another server, not currently experiencing this issue, the number of TCP sockets appears to more closely match the

What exactly did you want to compare? `ss -tp` does not appear to show cmdline/process title. I enabled it for one server, but will have to wait for users to reconnect and for the issue to reappear there. In the meantime, on another server

Counting character occurrences in data frame
Hi R-Users, I have a data frame containing year, month, day, and code columns. The code column is a unique character of set ('E','A','B') - I am trying to determine an efficient way of summarizing the count of each of these codes by month and year without having to use for...loops and subsets. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Dave Here is a snapshot

1k: 1000 or 1024?
The docs[1][2] suggest it''s 1024, but tc says something else: # tc qdisc add dev eth0 root tbf rate 1kbps latency 50ms burst 1500 # tc -s qdisc ls dev eth0 qdisc tbf 8009: rate 8000bit burst 1499b lat 48.8ms ^^^^^^^ Sent 0 bytes 0 pkt (dropped 0, overlimits 0 requeues 0) rate 0bit 0pps backlog 0b 0p requeues 0 If 1k were 1024, then I would have 8192bit above.

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook
