[Bridge] Problem loading bridge.o
Hello, I want to add wireless capability to my Gentoo-linux based
firewall/router at home, so I bought a Netgear MA311 PCI and installed
the hostap package. I load the hostap_pci module and the wlan0 interface
comes up fine. I can detect the signal from a wireless enabled laptop.
Now I'm thinking I'm going to bridge the wlan0 interface and the eth1

It took some time...
For those who are using SuSE:
At last they've managed to create ready-to-run packages for
openSUSE_11.1. They are there since a couple of hours...
(For other versions it was allready available for some time on the OBS)

terrible problems with Xen on SLES 10.2 / 11
Hello everyone,
I''m totally new to Xen and trying to run it on some platforms (x86, x64)
using SLES (that is what I have to use for reasons other than technical).
Several machines on which I tried using Xen simply fails to run normally
using Xen kernel: either network communication is not functioning at all

Samba-4.1.18 romaing profile causes memory leak
Are you running with DHCP IP adress? ( not adviced )
i see, ..
>dns forwarder = 127.0.1.1
run :
hostname -i
hostname -I
if you see anything with 127.0.x.x
Then your setup is not correct and can have problems. ( for example with authentication. )
please make sure your /etc/hosts file does not contain 127.0.1.1 of sorts.
like :
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain

Hi!
I've got the fillowing trouble.
Im' trying to get the local shares list. I started the smbd using
"/etc/init.d/smb restart" script. It seem to work fine.
The smb.conf and log.smb are listed below.
The smbd says that he "Can't change directory to /root/tmp" when I'm trying
to "smbclient -L localhost -U%".
The permissions for /tmp/SHARE are
