Should R Packages Unload Dynamic Libraries When They Unload?
>From Hadley's C best practices (http://r-pkgs.had.co.nz/src.html#c-best-practices): > Like with C++, whenever you use C code in your package, you should unload the DLL when the package is unloaded: .onUnload <- function (libpath) { library.dynam.unload("mypackage", libpath) } Writing R Extensions on the other hand doesn't even mention this (AFAIK). Flash keeping forever when using ActiveRecordStore
Hello, I''m hosting the app on Dreamhost and when I set the session store to ActiveRecordStore (after creating sessions table), Flash is suddenly keeping forever - it is not being cleared out automatically. On Webrick with default session store everything works fine. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks! -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

ef2sck loops forever with re-allocation
I hope someone is able to tell me wheter it is possible to rescue any data from my lvm disk. After adding a second disk, resizing, etc I made the super block sparse. Then problems surfaced. I tried both ef2sck v1.34 and v1.35 but they have the same result: Group descriptors look bad... trying backup blocks... Inode table for group 1519 is not in group. (block 7503623) WARNING: SEVERE DATA LOSS

net ads join hangs forever
Hi Aaron, we've just identified this problem and thought you may be interested if you haven't resolved this already. The bind is failing because the admin account being used to join the domain is a member of too many groups (waiting to hear from M$ what constitutes too many) and as a result the Kerberos TGT is too large and the kpasswd service on the M$ DC just ignores the change

"Nearly a week ago" is not "waiting forever" by any stretch of the imagination. Maintainers have 7 days to process test reports, and are automatically removed

TrackMania Nations Forever certain tracks unplayable
Hello I'm using wine 1.1.37 and TM Forever 2.11.21 en on Kubuntu Karmic. Most track play fine (with compositing turned off), but on some tracks the framerate is so low (1-2 fps) they are unplayable. These tracks include: A01, D08, E01, and a couple more. I tried lowering resolution, using windowed mode, unticking effects ckeckboxes in advanced configuration and it didn't help even a bit.

fortress forever doesnt show up in games list
I can install other hl2 mods and they show up in my games list and run fine, however whenever I install fortress forever it doesn't show up. I've even tried the shortcut that installs from the setup. But when I run that it just says loading source sdk base and nothing happens. There is no useful terminal output either. This is on wine 1.1.19. Help would be very much appreciated.

pxelinux 4.03 taking forever to find .../pxelinux.cfg/default
Hi All, It appears the NetApp OnTap tftp server we were using doesn't implement the "OpCode: Error Code (5); Error Code: File not found (1)" response." so we just moved the tftp service to RHEL boxes running HPA tftpd. It's essential for our deployment system to locate the pxelinux config specific to an installation request based on it's MAC address. If the MAC based
