How to bind 2 WAN 1 LAN ?
You need a combination of iptables and iproute2 to do what you want = because routing is based on it's DESTINATION address and you need to route on = your SOURCE address so it uses a different route depending on which source = IP is in the packet.. Refer to this page which is sort of what you want BUT not exact. It'll = give you some ideas...

Ipsec route and non-ipsec route
I am machines on IPsec VPN which is a subnet of my bigger LAN ( ie I have machines on the LAN which is not in the VPN ), specifically :- 192.168.132.0/29:0 -> internet ---> 192.168.1.192/27:0 ( local subnet ---> internet--> remote subnet ) # ip route list ... 192.168.1.192/27 via 21x.18x.11x.8x dev ipsec0 192.168.1.0/24 via 192.168.15.146 dev eth0 ... Now, the machines in the

Why does verifyFunction dislike this?
I am programmatically building some functions in intermediate representation, and trying to verify them, but the verifier always reports that there is a problem, and I can't see why. Minimal test case: #ifdef _MSC_VER #pragma warning(disable : 4141) #pragma warning(disable : 4530) #pragma warning(disable : 4624) #endif #include <llvm/IR/IRBuilder.h> #include <llvm/IR/Verifier.h>

dual wan, dual router, one machine behind, route from both to / from one machine
i apologize if this has been asked before, but things are too busy to preclude a full search of the list. i have both cable and dsl from the local providers here. due to wiring issues here, i''ve been forced to put the cable modem in one end of the house and the dsl modem in the other. the cable modem is firewalled off by a cisco pix 501 (192.168.2.12). the dsl modem is firewalled off

Multi-ISP :- Multi-Wan Broadband Router Appliance VS Multiple eth Linux routing
Hi all I need to use three 512 kbps aDSL internet connections, in a load-sharing, link-failover scenario. Presently I am using Ipcop with a single DSL. Now, I seem to have two options...one..an Edimax quad wan port adsl router, with firewalling and NAT and second install a minimal linux distro for routing...something on the lines of LARTC....and keep NATTING, IDS & Firewalling on the linux

DMZ and WAN
Hola, I have a question in regards to ignoring traffic shaping for LAN side that connects to a DMZ IMAP server through the WAN interface. The DMZ and the WAN side are both on a 10/100 switch. Is it possible? Thanks. ~Andrew. OS MDK 9.1 kernel-smp-2.4.21.0.33mdk-1-1mdk HTB; iproute2-2.4.7-7mdk; shorewall-1.4.8-2.2.92mdk

Shorewall, FreeS/WAN, and IPSEC
>sample setups of freeswan working with shorewall? I just implemented this a few days ago. In my case it was the simple scenario of two private subnets (with different private network numbers!) already equipped with Shorewall firewalls on which I added Freeswan. The hardest part was being patient enough for the other end''s firewall (a 486= ) to compile the patched kernel. I basically

Linking shares via WAN or VPN
Hello List, here?s what i got: 2 Boxes running Samba 3 with LDAP as Backend, one in each Location. The Authentification works fine via the Wan-Link, that?s not the problem. However, since we want the Users to be able to roam not only inside the Offices - but also betweeen them - we need to implement a system that also keeps the actual Data and Profiles in Sync. ATM, we?re using UNISON to do

If WAN is broken I have a problem with local connect
We have two subnets with two samba servers (div0 - 150.10.10.1 and div8 - 150.18.18.1 ). If I break the connection between subnets, clients belong to div8 cannot connect locally. All clients have set up wins server to 150.10.10.1 ( div0 ) . If subnets are connect, all is ok ( connecting, browsing). We are using samba 1.9.18p7. smb.conf in div0 is [global] workgroup = LANGROUP domain logons =

Samba and client oplock breaks over WAN
This only happens with PCs on the other end of a bridged 56k DDS line. It also affects DOS and W98 clients the same. Clients can log onto the domain ok, and browse. But trying to drag a file, or even right-click it in W98 explorer, cause the machine to hang, and eventually blue screen with a VREDIR VXD error. If I copy to Samba, sometimes it works, but then the file is zero bytes. Copying from

winbind + trust relationship on wan
Hi All, I?m trying to make stable a bidirectional trust relationship on the wan. I tried many things and before I change the branch samba to a BDC of main office PDC I guess anything else can help me. Does winbind can help to keep the trust relationship stable over a wan connection? Or the better way to use it is with a single domain and lots of BDCs? Thank?s everybody, Gustavo

High Speed WAN Rsync now possible!!!
Folks- Just wanted to plug a totally awesome software package from a group I know: UDR (UDT Enabled Rsync). For those not familiar with UDT, it is a low level network protocol based on UDP that allows for high speed transfers over high latency WAN networks: http://udt.sourceforge.net/ For a while the UDT API was available, developed by the Laboratory for Advanced Computing at the

defining directly to the wan/lan
I have a fedora system configured and running with virsh using kvm/qemu. All I want is to have a fixed ipaddress for that virtual machine. I know that there is the Host and Guest sides to the network. The host has virbr0 interface, which i guess is a bridge. Seem when ever I define a interface to the guest with a type=routed it hoses my other interfaces on the host and requires a console reboot --

WAN Side Calling
Hi, I am new to Asterisk, but I have to say it's an amazing peice of software. What I want to do is to be able to call other members of my family over our broadband conenctions (so that we don't have to pay huge phone bills anymore). We are both behind standard (NOT SIP aware) routers, so I would like to know if this is possible ? I want people external to my LAN to be able to use

Meetme conference across WAN
Greetings, I have 4 asterisk boxes in 4 different locations, works perfect [over ip with ipsec + asteriskes use IAX to talk to each other]. Users can call each other and talk no problem, sound quality is fine. asterisk is great. I am to create the conferencing facility. and I am stuck. The TDM400P card is installed in one of the asterisk boxes [zaptel, wcfxs and crc_ccitt modules installed
