[PATCH 1/3] virtio-console: Use virtio_config_val() for retrieving config
This patch modifies virtio-console to use virtio_config_val() instead of a 'if(virtio_has_feature()) vdev->config->get()' construct to retrieve optional values from the config space. [PATCH v2 0/2] Part 2: handle addr_assign_type for random addresses
The second part of my patch series to fix the handling of addr_assign_type for random MAC addresses. This contains the trival changes from random_ether_addr() to new eth_hw_addr_random() and code to reset the state to NET_ADDR_PERM as soon as the MAC get changed via .ndo_set_mac_address where eth_mac_addr wasn't used. [PATCH] tun: Fix/rewrite packet filtering logic
Please see the following thread to get some context on this http://marc.info/?l=linux-netdev&m=121564433018903&w=2 Basically the issue is that current multi-cast filtering stuff in the TUN/TAP driver is seriously broken. Original patch went in without proper review and ACK. It was broken and confusing to start with and subsequent patches broke it completely. To give you an idea of

[PATCH] Change virtio_pci to use a shared memory area for config
This patch changes virtio_pci to use a shared memory area for virtio config info instead of using the PCI configuration space. This is closer semantically to what the virtio API exposes and is it a lot easier to implement on both ends. [PATCH v2 0/1] virtio_net: vdpa: update MAC address when it is generated by virtio-net
When the MAC address is not provided by the vdpa device virtio_net driver assigns a random one without notifying the device. The consequence, in the case of mlx5_vdpa, is the internal routing tables of the device are not updated and this can block the communication between two namespaces. To fix this problem, use virtnet_send_command(VIRTIO_NET_CTRL_MAC) to set the address from virtnet_probe()

[PATCHv2] tracing/events: Add bounce tracing to swiotbl
Ftrace is currently not able to detect when SWIOTLB has to do double buffering. Under Xen you can only see it indirectly in function_graph, when xen_swiotlb_map_page() doesn't stop after range_straddles_page_boundary(), but calls spinlock functions, memcpy() and xen_phys_to_bus() as well. This patch introduces the swiotlb:swiotlb_bounced event, which also prints out the following informations
