tagged 0.0.37; release plans
Hi I just tagged 0.0.37 in Subversion. Please upload for your platform as you''re ready. I suggest we announce

1.9.4 released
Hi Just a quick note to say we released a new version, 1.9.4. The main purpose of this release is to offer an OS X gem that''s compatible with both 10.4 and 10.5 - The wxruby-1.9.3 OS X binary gem would only work with version 10.5 (Leopard). Version 1.9.4 also includes a couple of other minor fixes and enhancements, including * Some new AuiNotebook methods added in recent wxWidgets

Bug #16760
Hi, I just submitted bug #16760. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. (svn failed too, but I can''t say if this is the same error. 1.9.3 release, rakefile
Hi I''d like to put out a 1.9.3 release perhaps later this week/weekend. If you have a chance to test the build and samples esp with latest rubygems, please do. There are still some bugs on the list, and samples to do, but this should address all the build/install probs that have come up. And it would be good to get some testing and feedback on some of the new classes. A note on the

No joy from Wx::App.dispatch, Wx::App.yield...
OK, back with another iteration of the same problem... I updated my game demo, but the Close button failed to respond when (and only when) there were too many objects onscreen. The drawing loop is probably lasting longer than my drawing timer interval. I was able to reproduce the problem in my (probably familiar by now) test script just by boosting the number of lines drawn per frame. After

Universal Binary on OS X
Since the PPC Macs are no longer being produced and my PPC build machine is getting a little old I thought I would try making a universal version of the Mac OS X gem. After a little investigation it turned out to be surprisingly easy to do, just pass --enable-universal_binary when building wxWidgets and add -arch ppc -arch i386 to $extra_cppflags and $extra_ldflags in rakemacosx.rb. Now the

1.9.2, OpenGL
[third sending attempt...] I''m going to try and test out the samples on MSW over the next few days and if things look good I think we should release 1.9.2. Might try and fix the bugs related to TreeCtrl#get_first_child as these might involve minor API changes. So if anyone has any time to test out SVN HEAD and look for anything funny, please do. Also, we have an anonymous patch

wxruby and wxwidget-2.9.5 latest
is there a way to have wxwidget-2.9 working with ruby ? seems that the latest wxwidget is better for use with mac osx... so, there is many widget who are not been implemented in the last version of wxruby... like wxFilePickerCtrl (and other). Also, it seems like the wxruby project is dead since 2009. Is it right ? So, do you know if someone seriously have intention to follow the project or is it
