[RFC PATCH 00/11] Refactor MSI to support Non-PCI device
Hi all,
The series is a draft of generic MSI driver that supports PCI
and Non-PCI device which have MSI capability. If you're not interested
it, sorry for the noise.
The series is based on Linux-3.16-rc1.
MSI was introduced in PCI Spec 2.2. Currently, kernel MSI
driver codes are bonding with PCI device. Because MSI has a lot
advantages in design. More and more non-PCI devices want to

[RFC PATCH 10/11] PCI/MSI: Split the generic MSI code into new file
MSI interrupt will not only used in PCI device, more
and more Non-PCI device also want to use MSI. ARM
GIC v3 spec says in ARM platform with GIC v3 controller,
Non-PCI device can also be design to support MSI to
simplify interrupt wires, for the existing Non-PCI
device, consolidator is designed and used to translate
legacy interrupt to MSI. So for support Non-PCI MSI
device, generic MSI driver is

[PATCH] virtio: Use pci_enable_msix_range() instead of pci_enable_msix()
As result deprecation of MSI-X/MSI enablement functions
pci_enable_msix() and pci_enable_msi_block() all drivers
using these two interfaces need to be updated to use the
new pci_enable_msi_range() and pci_enable_msix_range()
interfaces.

HWEBayes, swapping the homozygotes genotype frequencies
I evaluated the Bayes factor in the k=2 allele case with a "triangular"
prior under the null as in the example in the help file:
HWETriangBF2(nvec=c(88,10,2))
[1] 0.4580336
When I swap the n11 entry and n22 entry of nvec, I received totally
different Bayes factor:

> HWETriangBF2(nvec=c(2,10,88))
[1] 5.710153

In my understanding, defining the genotype frequency as

(PR#9811) sequence(c(2, 0, 3)) produces surprising results,
This is as doumented, and I think you could say the same thing of seq().
BTW, sequence() allows negative inputs, and I don't think you want
sum(input) in that case.
I've never seen the point of sequence(), but it has been around in R for a
long time. It is used in packages eRm, extRemes, hydrosanity, klaR, seas.
Who knows what people have in private code, so I don't see any

Need help with function writing
Hello:
If anyone could guide me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
Using a 3-level input factor alternative so that a function(below) can compute both a two-sided and one-sided p-values. Making the two-sided test the default. And produce output information about which alternative was tested. Where would I place the ifelse statement?

[PATCH] efi/main: add retry to exit_boot()
Sometimes the UEFI memory map changes between GetMemoryMap() and
ExitBootServices(), making the MapKey value incorrect. Per the UEFI
spec, the memory map should then be fetched again and exiting retried.

This was sent to me by someone on the R-list ( I don't know her ) but I
don't have time to look at this right now so I told her I would send
it to the R-list because she said it keeps getting bounced when she
sends it.

[PATCH] driver, virtio: Modify the err hanlding logic
From: Liu Yuan <tailai.ly at taobao.com>
In the function vp_request_msix_vectors(), when
pci_enable_msix() returns 0, there will be
redundant double checks for 'err'. This patch
fixes it to avoid the unnecessary check.

[PATCH 2/2] virtio: retry on vector assignment failure
virtio currently fails to find any vqs if the device supports msi-x but fails
to assign it to a queue. Turns out, this actually happens for old host kernels
which can't allocate a gsi for the vector. As a result guest does not use
virtio net. Fix this by retrying with less vectors and finally disabling msi
on such failures and falling back on regular interrupts.
