HDMI support for NVC1 (GeForce GT 540M)
Hi, I have been using nouveau on my laptop (with GeForce GT 540M card) for a while, and it's been working quite well! Now I am trying to connect my TV using HDMI port, but wasn't so lucky with that. I would like to know the current status of HDMI out support for GF108 (NVC1). I am trying with the latest code from nouveau/master tree (2fee6f5). When I connect the tv, it's not

Does anybody runs R on the hp ML 370 or ML570 servers?
Dear all. I am trying to buy a hp server to run R and to complete some other tasks with limited bugets. The r-project.org site recommended that R will run on hppa-hp-hpux. However this system is out of our buget and ML system from hp is much cheaper. Is there anybody running R on ML370 or ML 570 systems? If you can provide me with some other information related that will be appreciated.

I have recently acquired a Dell XPS 15 (2017) 9560 with: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Device [8086:591b] (rev 04) 01:00.0 3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation Device [10de:1c8d] (rev a1) There seems to be contradictory information online with Arch Wiki mentioning:

VGA passthrough and nvidia optimus
Hi Is VGA passthrough with an nvidia optimus laptop remotely feasible? For those who don''t know, nvidia optimus is two hardware cards, connected to the same display. One sandy bridge setup (I use the intel driver for this), and one nvidia card. I have a laptop with this setup, and usually I''m using only the intel card. I then use acpi_call to power down the nvidia card. To use

CR repo update disaster for my desktop.
I have a centos 7.5 desktop workstation with dual nvidia graphic cards running three monitors. I use the i915 motherboard graphics adapter for the third monitor with bumblebee to work the magic to enable the three contiguous work spaces. I use the kmod nvidia drivers for the two graphics cards. This has worked without a hitch for 5 months until this weekend. I enabled the CR repo and did the yum

a question related to clustering
Hello all, I have a fundamental question to ask related to clustering. As you know, when we do statistic analysis, such as t-test, or anova, we like to log transform our data to make it normally distributed. My question is shall we use signal intensity of affy chips to cluster or use log transformed data. The Dendrogram profiles are certainly different when comparing two type of the data.

Problem with GT520 and optimus on Fedora 17
Hello, I have an Asus laptop, U36SD, with Optimus technology. The discrete gpu is an NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM Using Fedora 17; up to kernel 3.3.7-1 I was able to use bumblebee and bbswitch and then running optirun command (as I could do in F16). No more with kernel 3.4. Tried 3.4.0-1.fc17.x86_64, 3.4.2-4.fc17.x86_64 and 3.4.3-1.fc17.x86_64. I already opened a bug against F17:
