[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Add a Scalarize pass
Hi Richard,
The discussion on llvmpipe is irrelevant. llvmpipe has its own pass manager and optimization pipe, it is not a C compiler.

Bug in gnome-control-center and network edit module in Centos 7.4
Everyone,
I have been having a problem in setting up gateway/routers with Centos
7.4 machine and finally figured out the problem today. I am not sure
if this bug occurred first in 7.3 but it is definitely in 7.4. I have
other gateway routers that were created at the beginning of the Centos
7 that have been working perfectly even through the upgrades to 7.3 and
7.4, but the new gateways I have

As an alternative, adding Scalarizer and InstCombine passes to
SystemZPassConfig::addIRPasses() would probably

Any tips to avoid Nouveau crashes & freezes?
At FSF, we've been having trouble with Nouveau related kernel errors and
freezes which require a reboot for about 2 years now.
The issue mostly occurs when doing video conferencing in a browser plus
recording that using OBS (Open Broadcast Studio). We've found all the
configurations we've tested to crash/freeze from about once a day to
several times a day. This is mainly a problem

[LLVMdev] int to StringRed conversion
I think the better solution should be:
LLVMContext& C = is->getContext();
Value *values[] = {
ConstantInt::getSigned(Type::getInt64Ty(C), *scsr*),
MDString::get(C, *"path"*)
};
lnstr.setMetadata(*"your_analysis_name"*, MDNode::get(C, values));
So that you can take advantage of the type system of LLVM bitcode, and
don't have to cast the integers from/to strings
