Commit 8c8f15c9d3 added increased pitch alignment requirements to handle nv10-nv40 tiling (which must have a small number * PoT pitch). While NV4/NV5 do have tiling, this was never supported in nouveau. This change enables 1920x1200 resolutions since the maximum surface pitch has to be strictly less than 8192. With this patch the DDX almost works with GK20A, the missing piece is adding COHERENT mappings to the right places. ;-) If you specify NOUVEAU_BO_APER the kernel will truncate valid_domains to the domains specified at creation time. Hi, It could be my mistake, but I have uptodate versions of xproto, dri2proto, xserver, nouveau ddx, mesa, libdrm. Still the above commit makes X not load nouveau dri module, and fallback to swrast_dri.so. Nothing in X logs, but that 'Screen is not AIGLX capable' Best regards, Maxim Levitsky

First of all, we were not forcing the pixmap to be moved in before attempting to present it. Secondly, in certain configurations, we avoid ever backing pixmaps with vram (in GPUs with 32MB of VRAM or less). Hey Mario, It seems that your ddx commit b4231dd715a8 is causing a regression when I use mplayer -vo vdpau rendering with mesa 9.1. It fails to start drawing here, leaving the mplayer screen black, I can make it recover usually by seeking or moving another window in front. When I revert the commit it behaves normally. Changing can_sync_to_vblank(draw) to 0 in nouveau_dri2_schedule_swap also fixes
