win32-etc-0.2.2 testing wanted
I''ve commited code for win32-etc 0.2.2, which adds the configure_user and
configure_group methods. Testing appreciated. On my home system, I can''t
get configure_user to work, but I haven''t any real idea why it fails. The
configure_group method seems to work fine, however.

OpenSSH-2.1.1p2: Is this misuse of strtok?
Is this a misuse of strtok() in OpenSSH-2.1.1p2?
readconf.c:process_config_line() calls strtok() to
parse config lines. When it finds oProtocol it calls
compat.c:proto_spec() which in turns uses strtok().
However on return of proto_spec(), process_config_line() calls
strtok() once more to (quoting from the source code)
/* Check that there is no garbage at end of line. */
But surely strtok()

Bug in new_work_item
Hi all,
Windows 2000
Ruby 1.8.2 R7

I noticed that if I try to call new_work_item and give
the task a name that already exists, I get a segfault:

[Fwd: [win32utils-help][6822] Eventlog problem]
Dang, I thought we solved this.
Any ideas?
Dan
PS - I realized after reading this I forgot to bump the version number
for 0.3.3 - I''ve uploaded a new zip file with the correct version number.

Fwd: win32-clipboard and Unicode zero bytes
Hi all,
I''m forwarding this message from Brian Marick. If you
run this test script and then paste the results into a
Unicode aware text editor, you''ll notice that it only
prints one character instead of three.
I tried changing the strlen to _tcslen and strcpy to
_tcscpy, but that didn''t help. I mucked around a bit
with the MultiByteToWideChar function, too, but

RHSrvAny: Fix failure on Windows 2003
The newly rebuilt RHSrvAny worked on Windows XP, Windows 2003 R2, and Windows
Vista+, but segfaulted on Windows 2003. After much investigation, the issue
seems to have been with inconsistent use of Unicode.
This series fixes compilation on Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (the most recent
version which runs on Windows 2003), fixes all compiler warnings, and enabled
warnings during the build. The

rsync & ldap authentication
Hi,
I'm trying to get rsync 2.5.6 to authenticate users via openldap-2.0.23. I was looking through the mailing list archives and found a patch for rsync-2.4.6 that does this for me. I was just wondering if this is still valid, or if there has been a new patch or new implementation that has superceded this patch. Any help would be great. The message I am referring to is as follows:

Unhelpful error message when matching hosts in access list [PATCH]
Greetings,
As previously reported by me to the Debian bug tracking system:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An access list in rsyncd.conf may contain hostnames as well as
addresses. It may contain several patterns to match against.
address_match (in access.c) does this by trying to match hostname and
address against each of the patterns until a match is

Predict function for 'newdata' of different dimension in svm
I am using the "predict" function on a support vector machine (svm)
object, and I don't understand why I can't predict on a dataset with more
observations than the training dataset.
I think this problem is a generic "predict" problem, but I'm not sure.
The original svm was fit on 50 observations.

sshd doesn't set SSH_AUTH_RHOSTS as supported authentication
Okay...I've got it narrowed down, just don't know why this is happening...
In sshd.c, auth_mask is set to "supported authentication methods":
/* Declare supported authentication types. */
auth_mask = 0;
if (options.rhosts_authentication)
auth_mask |= 1 << SSH_AUTH_RHOSTS;
if (options.rhosts_rsa_authentication)

[PATCH] RFC: php: support PHP 7
Adapt to the API changes in the newer versions of the Zend framework, in
particular regarding:
- strings handling
- resources handling (used for the guestfs_h pointer)
- iterating in hash maps
- data types for function arguments
Introduce helper macros to reduce greatly the amount of #if's all around
the generated C code.

Nothing but rhythm was left after encoding and decoding by speex on ipad(XCode 4.1 48110)
hi,
I tried to encode the voice data read from AudioQueue and then decode
it. There was nothing but rhythm left, it sounds like robot's voice,
but I cannot recognize any word.
The app was compiled by XCode 4.1. Speex 1.0.5 and 1.2.rc1 gave the
same result. When compiling speex 1.0.5, I added them to Xcode
project, set the Header Search Paths, then compiled successfully. When
compiling speex

Service.start arguments failing or causing segfault
Hi,
Unless I''m mistaken the final arguments to Service.start should be
passed to the Daemon''s service_main method. Correct?
I modified the Service.start method (now in CVS) to look something like
this:
def self.start(service, host=nil, *args)
...
num_args = args.length
if args.empty?
args = nil
else
args.unshift(service) # Necessary?
