CH7007A (AKA CH7006) TV OUT Support for NV11 (NVidia GeForce2 Go Dell I8K Laptop)
After analyzing verbose nouveau & drm dmesg, I have found seemingly no more useful details pertaining to having no TV-1 device. The TV-1 device might be getting lost within DRM, by setting the TV-1 (SVIDEO, Composite) device into DPMS mode or Full Power Down mode, and the ch7006 datasheet does say in this mode, all but the i2c circuits are disabled! HDMI support for NVC1 (GeForce GT 540M)
Hi, I have been using nouveau on my laptop (with GeForce GT 540M card) for a while, and it's been working quite well! Now I am trying to connect my TV using HDMI port, but wasn't so lucky with that. I would like to know the current status of HDMI out support for GF108 (NVC1). I am trying with the latest code from nouveau/master tree (2fee6f5). When I connect the tv, it's not

Not showing dvi with Hmisc latex()
Hi, I'm using latex() from Frank Harrell's Hmisc library to produce LaTeX files. By default, it calls xdvi and displays the dvi. How can I make xdvi not show? I couldn't find a clue in the extensive documentation. Thanks, Gad ps: Hmisc 3.3-1 on R 2.5.0 for Linux. -- Gad Abraham Department of Mathematics and Statistics The University of Melbourne Parkville 3010, Victoria,

GeForce 6150SE: DVI-connector not detected
Hi, today I tested kernel 2.6.33 and it seems that nouveau doesn't detect the DVI-connector of my GeForce 6150SE (Asus M2N-VM DH). The screen turns black during boot-process immediately after the "[drm] nouveau ..." messages appeared. The board has two connectors (DVI + VGA) and I'm using the DVI-connector only. Everything is fine when I use a VGA-cable instead. See boot.msg

Strange problem with dual head on GeForce9600GT (dual DVI)
Hi, I am using nouveau for some time now, I am quite happy with it. I had two screens connected with DVI to VGA adapters and dual screen was working no problem. Today I decided to replace the DVI to VGA adapters with plain DVI-I dual link cables and found out something strange, the second screen doesn't display anything anymore, it stays black. I am using gentoo linux with Linus' kernel

Alas, using the live DVD, I couldn't check the behaviour described in comment #2 past a suspend&resume cycle, because the machine hung shortly after resume. -- You are receiving

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72952 --- Comment #5 from Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- I think this issue might be the same one as bug #60680. Can you try the patch at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=92319 and see if it helps? If it doesn't, can you upload your vbios (/sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/vbios.rom) as well as a dmesg booting with

Activate DVI-I behind KVM on FX 5200
Hi, > > Try your luck here > http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/dri-devel The major problem is that there is no way to tell the nouveau kernel module to enforce a specific output. There is a video=XXX kernel parameter, but this only applies to the VGA framebuffer but not to the nouveau framebuffer. > BTW what is actual KVM switch device, vendor/product? This is an

2nd dvi connector on fx 380 not working, channel configuration problem ?
Hi, I've been debugging the problem of the 2nd dvi connector on fx 380 cards not working. I wanted to diff a dump of the pdisplay block registers under nouveau and the binary nvidia driver, but when running nvapeek under nvidia I get: a "WARN: Can't probe ..." error because of pci_device_map_range() failing, is there a way around this. I did learn something interesting though.
