Rendering issues with KDE (GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M)
In order to get a clear image on your screen so that you can test this, you may need to set your display's resolution to 1024x768 in order to get around bug 70972. Rendering issues with KDE (GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M)
In addition to bug 70972 (Modesetting failure at 1280x800), there may be another bug affecting the NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M. I think that this is a separate issue from the above. When using KDE or Ubuntu Unity with nouveau on this GPU, there were artifacts and missing UI elements. I think that this is probably more likely to be a rendering issue rather than a display issue. I am not sure

Rendering issues with KDE (GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M)
I think all the common distros have pretty much stopped caring (if they ever did) about allowing users to reasonably operate their default environments with hardware that has imperfect 3D drivers. Please use environments that don't require 3D for regular operation on such boards. -ilia On Tue, May 30, 2017 at 7:36 PM, adlo <adloconwy at gmail.com> wrote: > In order to get a clear

Interface between fractal geometry and statistics
Are there any packages that help with statistical analysis in situations where fractal geometry is relevant? Perhaps something that supports computation of fractal related statistics, such as the Hurst exponent or fractal dimension? Or perhaps which support obvious tasks such as taking samples from a dataset at different levels of granularity (such as sampling spatial data at cm, m, km

fractal vs. Fractal packages
Dear R People: At one time, there were packages called fractal and Fractal, respectively, which had different functions. I can't seem to find Fractal any more. Does it still exist somewhere, please? Thanks in advance for any help! Sincerely, Erin -- Erin Hodgess Associate Professor Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences University of Houston - Downtown mailto: erinm.hodgess

fractal package
Greetings of Peace! I am new in R software. I want to use the correlation dimension corrDim in computing a map. I have installed the packages(fractal) in R. Now my problem is this, when I tried your example in the following site http://rgm2.lab.nig.ac.jp/RGM2/func.php?rd_id=fractal:corrDim  > library(fractal) > png(filename="corrDim_%03d_med.png", width=480, height=480) >

[LLVMdev] structure packing and misaligned members
I'm trying to determine how to do my packed structure compilation and am a bit unclear about how packed structures are handled. Consider this structure: %struct.packed = type <{ i8, i32 }> Now if I get a pointer to the i32 element the pointer will not be properly aligned for a typical i32. On my current machine (x86_64) the cpu doesn't seem to care, but I suspect this isn't

fractal dimension of an image
Hello, I have a problem that I think can be solved in R but I'm not sure how to tie things together. I have a digital image of a crystal growth in 2 dimensions. And my aim is to calculate the fractal dimension of the crystal. I was planning to use the box counting method. So I need to read in the image in R (for which I can use the pixmap or rimage packages) and then draw a grid over at a

doveadm table formatter: hidden titles may cause misaligned headers
Hello, I recently noticed a small bug in the doveadm table formatter: hidden titles may cause the headers to be misaligned. The behavior in question was introduced by commit <http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-2.2/rev/210282ae46e1> and doveadm -f table quota get -A may be used to reproduce it. Most simple patch attached: it simply restores the old behavior, to some extent. Actually hiding

Anything for fractals ?
Hallo, I am a newbie to R and desperatley seeking some material about fractal geometry. I found the great library on wavelet analysis of images and I'm now also keen on finding a similar package for calculating fractal parameters for given images. Does anybody know something about such a package? Every hint is greatly appreciated!! I searched already the database, but did not find anything
