kernel bug nouveau, total system hang, X crashed
Hi,
Using kernel 3.9.4, with openSUSE 12.1 (KDE 4.7.4 I think), I was
running fine for a long time with no problems. Today with openSUSE 12.3
(KDE 4.10.3, Xorg 1.13.2, upgraded on Jun. 10), my machine hung
completely. I believe the nouveau driver is at fault rather than KDE or
X, so chose this list. I think it might have been triggered by the
"Clock" ScreenLocker (screen saver). It

[PATCH 1/3] drm/nv50: Implement ctxprog/state generation.
This removes dependence on external firmware for NV50 generation cards.
If the generated ctxprogs don't work for you for some reason, please
report it.

[PATCH] drm/nv50: Remove redundant/incorrect ctxvals initialisation.
11c/004 offset corresponds to PGRAPH reg 0x400828, and is initialised
earlier anyway by both our ctxprog generator and blob ctxvals. It's
actually incorrect with the generator, since we use different layout
on pre-NVA0.

[PATCH 03/23] drm/i915: Don't use struct drm_driver.get_scanout_position()
The callback struct drm_driver.get_scanout_position() is deprecated in
favor of struct drm_crtc_helper_funcs.get_scanout_position().
i915 doesn't use CRTC helpers. The patch duplicates the caller
drm_calc_vbltimestamp_from_scanoutpos() for i915, such that the callback
function is not needed.

[PATCH v3 22/22] drm: Remove legacy version of get_scanout_position()
The legacy version of get_scanout_position() was only useful while
drivers still used drm_driver.get_scanout_position(). With no such
drivers left, the related typedef and code can be removed

Crash!!!
Dear members
I have for 3 days now been battling with an icecast crash. Since I have 3
months of after hours experience I am taking some real strain in resolving
it and hope someone can help. I have included as much info as possible.
Please let me know what else you need.

[PATCH 2/2 V2] drm/nv50: Improve PGRAPH interrupt handling.
This makes nouveau recognise and report more kinds of PGRAPH errors, as
well as prevent GPU lockups resulting from some of them.
Lots of guesswork was involved and some part of this is probably
incorrect. Some potential-lockuop situations are handled by just
resetting a whole PGRAPH subunit, which doesn't sound like a "proper"
solution, but seems to work just fine... for now.

Crash!!!
I still see: @pkgdatadir@, etc. in the paths of the icecast.xml.
Is this the used configuration file for the actual icecast ?
Then the should be replaced by the actual directory names. Isn't it ?
