[PATCH] nv04-nv40/exa: Reorder the commands in PrepareCopy to match the blob.
This fixes a somewhat indeterministic corruption problem on nv17 when there is stuff going on the other fifos (e.g. gallium but I've also reproduced it with an app just SIFM-ing memory around): in some cases it made the blits the X server had scheduled use the wrong pitch. [PATCH 1/2] Check before trying a solid fill
Pre-nv50 has all sorts of funny requirements for non-copy alu operations, and will bail out of solid fills left and right. Account for that case and fall back to the memset. [PATCH] Fix surface_fill alpha
Currently surface_fill sets alpha incorrectly to 1.0 when drawing to A8R8G8B8 instead of the correct value. xf86-video-nouveau has the following comment confirming the issue: /* When SURFACE_FORMAT_A8R8G8B8 is used with GDI_RECTANGLE_TEXT, the * alpha channel gets forced to 0xFF for some reason. We're using * SURFACE_FORMAT_Y32 as a workaround */ This

wfb patches
These patches are pretty much done, except for a compile warning somewhere. The major remaining bottleneck is this line (as far as i can tell): offset -= (unsigned long) pPixmap->devPrivate.ptr; A significant amount of samples is spent on that, so suggestions on how to improve that are appreciated. I'm out of time for the moment. I'm curious how this performs for other people

[Bug 36090] [NV34] [NV49] terminal's visual bell is very slow with nouveau
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36090 --- Comment #13 from Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Looking into EXA a bit, there's a EXASolid impl shared by all pre-nv50 cards. One of the things it apparently doesn't handle are 32-bit visuals with solid draws that include a fancy "op", which I assume the visual bell would, like xor or whatever. I have a hard
