[PATCH 2/2 V2] drm/nv50: Improve PGRAPH interrupt handling.
This makes nouveau recognise and report more kinds of PGRAPH errors, as
well as prevent GPU lockups resulting from some of them.
Lots of guesswork was involved and some part of this is probably
incorrect. Some potential-lockuop situations are handled by just
resetting a whole PGRAPH subunit, which doesn't sound like a "proper"
solution, but seems to work just fine... for now.

Nouveau and Debian Unstable
I recently compiled the drm and nouveau modules on Debian unstable. All went
well until I had to insert the drm module, I recieved to following error:
insmod: error inserting 'drm.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module
I have compiled the modules before and I have always gotten this same error.
Here is the log of my build:

[PATCH] Add in-kernel backlight control support
Several nvidia-based systems don't support backlight control via the
standard ACPI control mechanisms. Instead, it's necessary for the driver
to modify the backlight control registers directly. This patch adds
support for determining whether the registers appear to be in use, and
if so registers a kernel backlight device to control them. The backlight
can then be controlled via

[PATCH] Add an option for Nouveau debugfs output that depends on DEBUG_FS and update help entry for Nouveau KMS
From: Matt Parnell <parwok at gmail.com>
drm/nouveau: Add DRM_NOUVEAU_DEBUG option
Sometimes we have DEBUG_FS enabled, but don't want output from certain modules.
Most modules make this an option, so I figured that Nouveau needed it too. I also
made it exlicit that CONSOLE_FRAMEBUFFER is needed for textmode use with KMS.

[RFC] nouveau: Add basic i2c sensor chip support
This adds basic support for driving sensor chips off the nvidia i2c buses,
along with basic support for reading the internal GPU sensor on supported
chipsets. It's heavily cribbed off nvclock. Having scanned a large number
of bioses, I'm pretty convinced that the appropriate i2c bus is always
number 2 in the list on <g80 - I'm not sure about later cards yet.
There's still a lot

GeForce GTS 250M: no acceleration...
Good day. I am Carlo - living in the Netherlands. Today I came in
possession of a MSI-produced barebone laptop - a MS-1656-ID1 (which is
equivalent in hardware to the GT640 "gaming" laptop).
This laptop comes wih a video card that is identified as follows:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GT215 [GeForce GTS 250M] (rev a2)
(pci ID 10de:0ca9). For your info, the

Xorg unbuildable - where to get: x11-xcb?
Greetings,
A fresh install of 7 followed by a cvsup to 7.2-PRE on the 26th
results in an inability to build Xorg on the system. A cvsup only
an hour ago provides no solution.
An attempt at the following:
cd /usr/ports/x11/xorg-minimal
make
produces the following error:
