Sound deformation during conversation or IVR message
Hi, We have a working asterisk with 1 E1 and a TE405P. During conversation, when one side is speaking, the other hears sometimes (every 5 to 20 seconds, it is random) a little deformation of the voice/sound. It sounds like "scricth" and not during more than 0.5 seconds. We have exactly the same problem when asterisk give messages to caller by an IVR. No need to be lot of

small bug in 8.6 commands - grab key doesn't close after <Alt><Super><Sys_Req> + Other good feedback
Guys, Here is a little something to look at in the code. I have the following set: Run command 1: /opt/kde3/bin/ksnapshot <Super>Print Run command 2: /opt/kde3/bin/ksnapshot --current <Alt><Super><Sys_Req> The bug occurs when you choose 'Grab key combination' for <Alt><Super><Sys_Req>. When you enter the keystroke, the keystroke is clearly

Allocating shelf space
Hi Folks, This is not an R question as such, though it may well have an R answer. (And, in any case, this community probably knows more about most things than most others ... indeed, has probably pondered this very question). I: Given a "catalogue" of hundreds of books, where each "entry" has author and title (or equivalent ID), and also Ia) The dimensions (thickness,

Cube Size Changes?
Listmates, Interesting difference in size. The cube now seems to have grown in size during rotate. See the differences: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/screenshot/compiz/compiz-rotate.png http://www.3111skyline.com/download/screenshot/compiz/compiz-rotate1.png Is there a setting that controls this? -- David C. R 1.6.0 benchmark with and without optimized ATLAS
Hello, I am updating my benchmark (http://www.sciviews.org/other/benchmark.htm) to recent versions of data analysis software (including R 1.6.0 and Splus 6.1), and I now run it on a Pentium IV instead of the old Celeron 500 Mhz that candidates for retirement. I test R under Windows Xp pro with and without optimized BLAS. I use the optimized Rblas.dll for P4 found on CRAN. Here are the results.

how to draw an ellipse
That's probably a stupid question, but I'm looking for a low-level command which plots ellipse, specifying only center and deformation axes. The purpose is to illustrate bivariates gaussians with 2D .95 confident levels without using any specific library. Thanxs for your help, Guillaume

QQplot
Hi! <http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/file/n4651293/qq.png> We are stuck with a problem considering the qqplot of a dataset. We are trying to discover what kind of distribution this is. We already tried to normal, exponential or the logaritmical distribution but none of those are able to solve our problem. Is there someone able to tell us what kind deformation we should try? (I'm

Whole lotta stuff
1) Please ignore the patch for wxMouseEvent.h. Including this causes the build to fail. 2) Attached are several files to patch some things to get the bigdemo working (better): Added a generic typemap for converting ruby arrays into point arrays. Added a typedef for wxDash Corrected/expanded the typemap for GetTextExtent Added GetMultiLineTextExtent prototype (there are some others missing I

Zaptel? Dahdi?
Is Zaptel no longer available? I returned to a long shelved project (using TDM400P and a customized, canned version of *) and, getting to the configuration, find wctdm is not there. I recall the authors where very "enterprise" oriented and focused on T1 cards. So they left analog support out. Anyway, before I abandon all hope and dive into the "new stuff", I thought I would

Cube rotation
Hi, First of all I would like to say that I love the work you are doing. Xgl/compiz is a great project! I really appreciate what you are doing :) However, there is one feature that I'm missing, or rather the possibility to disable another feature. I would like to be able to use multiple viewports, but I don't want the rotation animation. Sure, rotating the desktop to switch viewport is

Multi Head Cube rotation
Hi, I pulled compiz from GIT yesterday to see if I could get proper multi-head support. I think the current status is great, but I have one little suggestion to make. The current behavior is that we have two viewpoints of the "cube" (it's more like a body with eight side planes now). If it's rotated one step we skip one of the planes. Rotating four times is enough to go round

Compiz 8.6 on openSuSE 11.0 -- Success! But need help with a few issues.
Dominique, cc: compiz, Dominique, you wanted the feedback, and List, I need your help. I have installed and fully configured (kicked the tires) on compiz 8.6 on openSuSE 11.0 and on balance it is great. There are a few weird things going on. Most notably, the number of options in ccsm that now uncheck themselves. In the past (compiz 0.5.6 - 0.8.2) there may have been one or two that would stick

cannot replace c10t0d0 with c10t0d0: device is too small
In 2007 I bought 6 WD1600JS 160GB sata disks and used 4 to create a raidz storage pool and then shelved the other two for spares. One of the disks failed last night so I shut down the server and replaced it with a spare. When I tried to zpool replace the disk I get: zpool replace tank c10t0d0 cannot replace c10t0d0 with c10t0d0: device is too small The 4 original disk partition tables look like

passwd authentication issues (ATTN: Petar)
Hi, Petar, For whatever reason, I didn't see your most recent reply until I checked the web archives. To answer your questions... Is my dovecot running chrooted? Not that I know of. However, the option to (apparently) decide this is confusing at best. Here is what I have entered. # chroot login process to the login_dir. Only reason not to do this is if you # wish to run the whole

R benchmark, moble Pentium III, 1.13 GHs
Hi Jason, I suppose you installed the Matrix library, and it is working on your computer? If yes, may be det.Matrix() was removed, or renamed in the Matrix library you have (I cannot check this for the latest version, because I am away of the office until August 1st), but I will do that next week. In the meantime, you can replace 'det.Matrix' by 'det.default', and it should run.

Significant updates to medical imaging packages: TractoR and RNiftyReg
Dear all, There have been some recent major updates to the TractoR and RNiftyReg packages, which are available for medical image analysis applications. If you use R for these purposes, I hope you will find the updates useful. RNiftyReg is an image registration package, which provides a clean R-like interface to the NiftyReg library developed at University College London [1]. It is aimed at

[Bug 652] pcap plugin problem

I raised this problem last May, and since then, the project which required this has been shelved, and the hardware being used for it has been redeployed.
