VST plugin (ez drummer)
Hi, I just registered. I have a problem related to wine:
lmms can run some vst plugins with VeSTige, so I tried to get ez drummer working. It didn't work, so I downloaded Toontrack Solo, that is a program needed to run ez drummer as a standalone, and not as a plugin. It still wouldn't work, neither as a standalone.
I made a few searches and I found out that it needed mfc42.dll so I

libQt5Core.so ver 5.12
Hello,
For the last few days, 'dnf upgrade' on my Centos 8 installation has
been showing problems saying that it cannot install the best update
candidates for packages (kf5-*) because nothing provides
libQtCore.so.5(Qt_5.12). My system shows that it presently has
libQtCore.so.5(Qt_5.11). I've been keeping the system up to date using
the --nobest option in dnf.
I could download

[LLVMdev] lli unable to resolve symbol _ZNKSt3__16locale9use_facetERNS0_2idE in bitcode
Hi,
LLVM/Clang version: 3.2svn (r156975). I have a bitcode file that I'm
trying to load/execute using lli as below but it reports an error about
unresolved symbol:

[LLVMdev] lli unable to resolve symbol _ZNKSt3__16locale9use_facetERNS0_2idE in bitcode
Resending, any pointers? I demangled the symbol and it turns out to be:
std::__1::locale::use_facet(std::__1::locale::id&) const

My guess is that you've got a .bc file produced on a mac using libc++
(hence the ::_1 part) and you're trying to run it on linux with
libstdc++ (which doesn't use inline namespaces, the '::_1::' part). That

libplasma - no downgrade
I tried, last night, to downgrade kdelibs, I think it is, to resolve the
libplasma crash that we talked about yesterday... and yum told me there
was no upgrade or downgrade. I'm sort of assuming that I'd have to go back
to 6.4... unless I need to add a repo - the vault? wget it, and downgrade
it locally?

Severe issues with the latest 6.5 desktop
Ok, here at home, I'm running kde. After the last update, last week, and
reboot (and that was a *real* mess - some issue I'm not sure I've resolved
yet, trying to boot off RAID 1), here's what's started happening:
I run in runlevel 3, and have a startx in my .bash_profile. At some point,
just about every day, suddenly the toolbar on the bottom vanishes, as does my
desktop
