Problem with RAID on 6.3
I have 4 ST2000DL003-9VT166 (2Tbyte) disks in a RAID 5 array. Because
of the size I built them as a GPT partitioned disk. They were originally
built on a CentOS 5.x machine but more recently plugged into a CentOS
6.2 machine where they were detected just fine
e.g.
% parted /dev/sdj print
Model: ATA ST2000DL003-9VT1 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sdj: 2000GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B

centos 6.2_x86_64, get black screen with blinking cursor after select item from GRUM menu.
Hi, all:
I'm using centos 6.2-x86_64, the built-in kernel version is 2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64.
Now I compiled kernel of version of linux-2.6.32-220.23.1.el6.x86_64, which get from kernel-2.6.32-220.23.1.el6.src.rpm.
I have put vmlinuz and initramfs into /boot directory, as follow:
[kdev at panda boot]$ ll /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-* ./initramfs-2.6.32-*
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root

kernel-debuginfo
Hi!
I'm trying systemtap on CentOS 6.2 kernel-2.6.32-220.23.1.el6.x86_64. My
problem is that I can't find kernel-debuginfo... corresponding to my kernel
version.
The systemtap docs suggest rebuilding the kernel from sources, but it looks
like I will have to install my own kernel, which is not acceptable on the
production machine.
Where can I find the debuginfo for the latest CentOS

doesn't work at all
Hi,
I can't seem to get dovecot to work. When I connect with thunderbird,
tbird complains that it can't find the settings for my email. When I
connect with evolution, it seems to go through all the motions but it
doesn't pick up the waiting messages. Those messages are marked Status: O
s if it had read them.
The log file for tbird looks like this:

Failing Network card
Everyone,
Most of the time I am over my head in trying to troubleshoot problems.
However, after reading manuals, man pages, and getting advice from this
list I have been able to work my way through difficulties, and at the
end, I usually have a better understanding of what 'is going on'. I can
only hope this method will work on this problem too.
I have been chasing a problem with a

[Gluster-devel] GlusterFS 3.3.1 client crash (signal received: 6)
It's a pity I don't know how to re-create the issue. While there are 1-2 crashed clients in total 120 clients every day.

+ sub addressing setup
I have Dovecot/Postfix/MySQL/PostfixAdmin,
I'd like to setup + sub addressing (for +spam and possibly user-defined
+folders)
I have setup a user+spam folder path in PostfixAdmin as so;
vvv+spam at tld path:tld/vvv at tld/.spam/
that requires me to put a 'duplicate' user with the + and +path for each
user, the folks on PostfixAdmin suggested that Dovecot might have a better

Corrupted index file
I've recently switched from Courier-imap to dovecot and I'm impressed
with it's speed and reliability. However, my index file gets regularly
corrupted:

I use dovecot in combination with mutt, procmail and
