Eliminating bad tests from SuperRedCloth
Hi, all. I haven''t felt at liberty to go axing test cases, but some of the 33 that are failing now are ones I don''t think we want to pass? cruft coming from Markdown or made up to fill a gap some years ago. I''d like to float the proposition that we make Super (and thus RedCloth 4) behave as identically as possible to Textile2 as working on

HTML handling in SuperRedCloth
I''m having all kinds of fun trying to get HTML to work "properly" in SRC (mild sarcasm). I''m still working on the problem, but wanted to run it by the group. Currently, Textile2 lets you put in HTML as long as it''s in the same block (i.e. no double-returns). <ul> <li>You can put HTML code right in Textile.</li> <li>It will

Whitespace in SuperRedCloth
Up to now, the tests have been running with whitespace stripped out. Newlines and tabs are insignificant in HTML, so I figured why bother with them? Now I realize why: they''re significant in pre tags and they also make your code look pretty! I''ve been working to get SRC output to roughly match Tetxile2''s as far as tabs and newlines go. It''s tough and

package relsurv
Dear R-Users, I've recently used relsurv package for relative survival analysis. In particular I've tried to reproduce the examples proposed in the R-documentation about rsadd, rsmul and rstrans functions in R latest version (R 2.14.1). These examples don't run and the error message is always the following: data(slopop) data(rdata)

Advice regarding extending RedCloth
Hello, I am in a bit of a bind. I need to reliably parse mediawiki markup to html, and the only parser that I can find (mediacloth) has a lot to be desired, so I would like to extend something that works and parse mediawiki markup. My question to this list is should I start working on RedCloth or SuperRedCloth or is there a difference as far as extending them? Also does anyone know of a write up

Parse XML
Could someone provide a link or examples of parsing XML document in R? Few specific questions below: For instance I can retrieve specific nodes using this: node <- xpathApply(xml, "//" %+% xtag, xmlValue) 1) I want to be able to retrieve parent node for this node, how can I do this? getParentNode() does not seem to cut it. 2) How can I retrieve children nodes for a particular

inserts now set unset columns to null
Hi, I upgraded to Ruby 1.8.4 and whatever the latest Rails is as of March 29 2006. I am using PostgreSQL 7.4. With the earlier version of rails, I had insert queries that looked like this: Topic Create (0.001189) INSERT INTO topics ("inlibrary", "irx_display_title", "irx_title", "title", "creation_stamp", "last_update_stamp",

RedCloth Hard Breaks
Has anybody gotten :hard_breaks to work with RedCloth? I''m doing: self.body_html = RedCloth.new(self.body).to_html(:textile) which works, except that it doesn''t transform hard breaks to <br /> tags, which is really important for me. However, if I do: self.body_html = RedCloth.new(self.body, [ :hard_breaks ]).to_html(:textile) then it converts ALL breaks into <br

Cisco IOS and racoon
I am trying to get a tunnel from a cisco 1760 with IOS 12.2.15.t13 to a freebsd 4.9 install with racoon. I have package version freebsd-20040408a and internal version 20001216 in my log file. I posted the full racoon and cisco log below my configs. Racoon keeps saying: 2004-07-26 16:24:03: DEBUG: isakmp.c:2295:isakmp_printpacket(): begin. 2004-07-26 16:24:03: DEBUG:
