linux-2.6-xen.hg and missing devpts
I can''t seem to configure /dev/pts under a linux-2.6-xen.hg kernel (even in
the recent update to 2.6.15). The usual DEVPTS config options (support for
UNIX98 ptys, if embedded config is selected, and DEVPTS Xattrs and security
labels) don''t appear as kernel config options, and CONFIG_UNIX98_PTYS
doesn''t seem to be a valid option in my .config. Naturally, things

[RFC] Half-Precision Support in the Arm Backends
Hi,
I am working on C/C++ language support for the Armv8.2-A half-precision
instructions. I've added support for _Float16 as a new source language type to
Clang. _Float16 is a C11 extension type for which arithmetic is well defined, as
opposed to e.g. __fp16 which is a storage-only type. I then fixed up the
AArch64 backend, which was mostly straightforward: this involved making
operations

[RFC] Half-Precision Support in the Arm Backends
I would like to revive this thread, as I am struggling a lot with the FP16
implementation in the ARM backend. My implementation in
https://reviews.llvm.org/D38315 is finished (except one case), but a more
robust alternative implementation was suggested. One can indeed argue that my
current implementation is a bit fragile, because it involves manually patching
up the isel dags for a few cases. The

[LLVMdev] half to float intrinsic promotion
Hi Guys,
I am trying to promote half to float for my intrinsic math operations,
following class and pattern are defined.
"
class S_HF__HF< string asmstr> : Intrinsic
<[llvm_float_ty ], [llvm_float_ty ],
[IntrNoMem],
!strconcat(asmstr, "_f16")>;
def :Pat<( f16 (int_my_math_f16 f16:$src)), (F2Hsr (FEXTsr f16:$src) )>;

[RFC] Half-Precision Support in the Arm Backends
Hi Sjoerd,
For ISel, I think having a separate register class will give you less headache. I wondering if you could get away with not touching the instructions descriptions at all, instead defining external pattens for the FullFP16 case, like so:
def VCVTBHS: ASuI<0b11101, 0b11, 0b0010, 0b01, 0, (outs SPR:$Sd), (ins SPR:$Sm),
IIC_fpCVTSH, "vcvtb",

Vservers and shorewall
hello
I''m using the 2.6 series 5 vservers on eth1 running on
debian unstable and I wanted two of them to be used as
"proxies".
One of the proxies has 3 interfaces (well 4 if you
count the ath0 interface whose traffic I''d like to
pass through the "vproxy"); one facing the hosts''/out
interface, one facing the "dmz" where two vservers

domU freezes with new 2.6.26 kernel
Hello,
I have a problem since upgrading to the latest debian xen-kernel. In one
of my domUs I had clamav installed. Every time I start clamav/reboot the
domU it freezes and, seen from the dom0, in the domU something takes
100% of CPU. The only modifications I made were
- the upgrade of the kernel from 2.6.18-xen-vserver-amd64 to
2.6.26-1-xen-amd64
- I added the following line to the file config

Shell Expansion in logcheck.logfiles
I'm running logcheck on a machine hosting a bunch of virtual machines using

file. So instead of entering
/var/lib/vservers/v1/var/log/syslog
/var/lib/vservers/v2/var/log/syslog
/var/lib/vservers/v2/var/log/syslog
I can enter
/var/lib/vservers/*/var/log/syslog

I am having an issue with guestmount in respect to live instances

[LLVMdev] Half Float fp16 Native Support
hi all,
i am trying to implement native support for fp16 in llvm-3.1
i have already used the opencl patch for clang so the IR that is generated
is correct.
i tried to add some code so the the fp16 type is handled correctly but no
luck.
We have a target that has native fp16 units and tried to run a simple
program
int main ()
{
__fp16 a,b,c,d;
a= 1.1;
b=2.2;
c=3.3;

[LLVMdev] RFC: Do we still need @llvm.convert.to.fp16 and the reverse?
Hi all,
What do people think of doing away with the @llvm.convert.to.fp16 and
@llvm.convert.from.fp16 intrinsics, in favour of using "half" and
fpext/fptrunc? [1]
It looks like those intrinsics originally date from before "half"
actually existed in LLVM, and of course the backends have grown up
assuming that's what Clang will produce, so we'd have to improve their
