Let's TALK ABOUT IT!!!
Everyone seems to be working on their own servers that are in there homes, offices and elsewhere. The only common thread is this list-serv.
I have several * servers set up here in Austin, Texas. I propose we set up one of them with with all the list-serv members. At this time the calls would be limited to on-net calls only to other members.
As the project grows and other members add servers we

Ahah.
I will end this here.
I misread the newsgroup address on the original 'what's happening here',
assuming it was for the vox group, which encourages idle rubbish. I hit
reply, and believed I was mailing to this group. I apologise for wasting
the bandwidth if icecast group members with such things.
This is also why I did not hide my headers. If you like, mail me off-list

I appreciate everyone's response. It's glad to see there are others out
there...
However, I still have seen a number of posts that have gone unanswered and
some frustrated users (keyword: users) such as myself.
Currently my issues are:
Unable to start icecast from init.d (error: "You can run, but you can't
hide" repeatedly output until it almost crashes my box)

[Copfilter] Copy of quarantined email - *** SPAM *** [6.5/6.0] Asterisk <-> Nortel Phone Switch
Still trying to make my Asterisk PBK talk to our Nortel Phone Switch (C15k).
Nortel did an upgrade which changed a bunch of things today, so I thought I'd
give it another shot. It looks like I'm much closer this time, but still no
go. Can't do calling in either direction. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
Shawn

[Copfilter] Copy of quarantined email - *** SPAM *** [6.6/6.0] Problems getting Asterisk to detect call in
I have installed an Asterisk 1.4 on Suse93 using a FritzCard.
Some calls are logged to the ISDN log, but Asterisk is not detecting
incoming calls.
I wonder whether some other device or process is preventing Asterisk
from gaining access to the isdn line?
Is there some way to ensure that only Asterisk can listening to the
line, or get it to share the line with some other device, such as the

screen saver under centos 5
Hi all,
I am using centos 5. I need the screen to always be on.
I have gone into System -> Preferences -> Screen saver
and then I unchecked the "Activate screen saver when computer is IDLE"
setting.
I also edited the xorg.conf and commented out the dpms line.
However, my screen is still going into some kind of screen saver.
What else is there to disable?
Thanks,
Jerry

KDE Screen Saver and Centos 4.3
In Centos 4.1 I am having to user the Xscreen saver as a
work around due to the KDE screen saver not working properly.
Has the KDE screen saver been fixed/updated in Centos 4.3,
or do you still need to use xscreensaver instead?
