so I have a bunch of servers at work that are on DUAL UPS's (1 per each of 2 power supplies). Its mostly HP gear, but also some Sun and IBM. Ideally I'd like the system to not go into shutdown unless BOTH UPS's that a particular box is plugged into (there's actually 4 UPS, 2 per each of 2 racks). Hi all, I installed asterisk 1.4.22 on a Dell poweredge 2950, with 4GB RAM. I used debian, but the default kernel doesn't recognize the 4GB, just 3, so I installled the linux-image-2.6.18-6-686-bigmem kernel, that do recognize the whole 4GB.
