Switching from webrick to mongrel
I got tired of restarting my puppetmaster when it stopped responding and finally switched to mongrel last night. When running under mongrel, what sort of concurrent connection rates are people able to get? I dont know how many individual puppetmaster processes I should spawn, or how to tell when I should span more. Perhaps I need more than two, because this morning I had a look at how

Ordering problem...
Hi all, I''d got the impression that puppet didn''t care about ordering - ie. the ordering of imports and includes related to calling them in the manifest. Lately I''ve had big trouble getting puppet to accept that I require some resource that I _have_ defined elsewhere in the manifest. To explain it, here is a simplified example: site.pp: -------- import

samba-ad-dc from debian backports fails to start with /usr/sbin/samba missing
Michael, Maybe I can answer why so few are seeing the NEWS entries you created.? I checked all my Debian systems, and only one has apt-listchanges installed.? The systems were all done via a netinstall .iso.? I don't recall installing apt-listchanges on the one system, but I must have somewhere in time.? So, for any other individuals who installed the OS as I did, there is no NEWS

question about using procmail
Thanks Michael, I have followed your advice and reading more wiki page and understood that if FTS is not updated during delivery, it will be updated when there is new SEARCH request going into Solr. Is my understanding correct? - Joe On Mon, Jul 30, 2018 at 8:22 PM Michael Wagner <wagner_m_bremen at web.de> wrote: > On Jul 30, 2018 um 16:48:13, Joe Wong wrote: > > Hello, I am

You can use plugin { ? fts_autoindex = yes } to cause FTS indexing during delivery as well. It works now for all my web apps ! If you have a AC.pem, juste rename in AC.crt (update-ca-certificates recognizes only crt files, man update-ca-certificates) Thank you Louis. I dont know LTB or what it exact is, but Add in /etc/ldap/ldap.conf TLS_REQCERT allow Setup your own "rootCA" like this. ( if not done, apt-get install ca-certificates ) mkdir -p /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/chrono mv /etc/ssl/ca_chrono-dom.lan.pem /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/chrono update-ca-certificates ! MUST BE /usr/local/share/ca-certificates else its not picked up

In that case. apt-get update apt-get remove samba winbind --autoremove apt-get dist-upgrade --autoremove apt-get install samba winbind libnss-winbind libpam-winbind tdb-tools apt-get dist-upgrade --autoremove --purge As long as you dont use --purge, everything of samba will stay on the system and you able to install the buster version. Change Password after expired
Hi list, Same wish here! I'd like my users to change their password using LTB (great tool) but since 4.2.10 (debian jessie) I lost the connection to samba4. I tried using TLS and port 636 in LTB's config.inc.php with a dedicated user and put the self signed AC from private/tls but it didn't work. Before the upgrade, i was on samba 4.1.17 (debian jessie) and simple bind on port 389
