mount type ensure behavior
The ensure parameter for the mount type has a ''present'' option, which
will unmount the filesystem if its mounted. I was hoping that ''present''
meant to make sure it was listed in the mounts file, but to not do
anything with it (ie. don''t unmount if mounted, and don''t mount if
unmounted). I thought this was how the ensure =>

OpenSSH public key problem with Solaris 10 and LDAP users?
Hello.
I've got a problem logging in to a Sparc Solaris 10 machine with
public key authentication. I searched, and found a similar problem
report at <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.network.openssh.devel/12694>.
For that guy, the problem had to do with LDAP.
My user accounts are also stored in LDAP, an OpenLDAP server, to be
exact. That server runs on the same machine as the machine

I just upgraded our company's network from a system created 6 years ago

a central LDAP server. It was a far from painless experience, so I
thought I'd write up the experience in the

[patch/cygwin]: Fix documentation
Hi,
could somebody with checkin rights please apply the below patch?
It modernizes and improves readability of the Cygwin README file
(which hasn't been updated for ages), drops unsupported OSes from
the ssh-host-config help text, and drops an unneeded option from
ssh-user-config.
Thanks in advance,
Corinna

What it is way most best for causing bash script run (as root) of time

I use dovecot 2.3.4.1 in Debian 10.
And I use of mail-crypt-plugin

I setup mail-crypt for requiring user encrypted EC key
(mail_crypt_require_encrypted_user_key = yes). I want for passphrase

LVM encryption and new volume group
Hi Chris,
thanks for your answer.
It is the first time I decided to encrypt my lvm. I choosed to encrypt the volume group, not every logical volume itself, because in case of doing lvm snapshots in that group they will be encrypted too?
And how do I create a new encrypted volume group?
Regards
Tim

I'm sorry, but grep -i crypt /var/log/anaconda/anaconda.program.log
returns nothing. But I have got an entry in /etc/crypttab.
I only found this with grep -i luks /var/log/anaconda/anaconda.*:

making a plugin encrypt index data
Hello,
I'm encrypting mail on disk using a plugin[0], but the index files are
not encrypted (specifically the dovecot.index.cache can be read).
I want to do is encrypt index on disk, so I'm looking for how a plugin
can achieve that by hooking into the right locations. Is that easily
possible in a plugin?
I can turn off those indexes by passing INDEX=MEMORY, but that isn't
possible

I pressed <enter> as empty for both the filename identity and passphrase
then sent the public key to A under .ssh and saved as authorized_keys
(the first time I sent the key I got message: The authenticity of host
'hostname (host ip)' can't be established)
Now if I run scp from B to A, I ALWAYS get password (of the A host)
prompted! Which I don't want.

[PATCH 2/2] Introduce a --key option in tools that accept keys
The majority of the tools have already options (--echo-keys &
--keys-from-stdin) to deal with LUKS credentials, although there is no
way to automatically provide credentials. --keys-from-stdin is
suboptimal, because it is an usable solution only when there is just one
device to open, and no other input passed via stdin to the tool (like
the commands for guestfish).
To overcome this
