sandisk mp3 player
Hello, Got a 2gb mp3 player. The issue is it needs a usb2 card and the only available one is on a centos 5.1 box. I was wondering how do i get this device to show up? I'd like to share it's directories via samba, so that windows users can manipulate it's files, add more, etc. Thanks. Dave.

Looking for recommendations.... On WinXP, I use MusicMatch Jukebox version 9 for all my tinkering with mp3s. What do you guys use that would match the functionality of MMJB? I'm mainly interested in the music library setup of MMJB... -- --- David Woyciesjes

Steps to Create or Incorporate Online MP3 Player
Hello, Are there any recommended Flash or other MP3 players that can be incorporated into a Ruby Web page. I would like to create a Jazz Guitar Improvisational instructional site that offers the ability to play original songs and other short examples via the MP3 player. Thank you, Tony --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed

Windows Media Player MP3 Problem
Hi, I am trying to play MP3 files using Windows Media Player 6.4. Video files, even DivX, are OK. But although I can hear the music, it skips a lot. I see Dsound buffer under run errors. I think I can overcome this by modifying a numerical value somewhere. Do you have any idea ? I get the same error also for other type of sound formats too. Thanks

Alternate MP3 Player
Hi! I am currently working on setting up an Asterisk system, and I was wondering if anyone has worked on an alternate mp3 player to mpg123. We have a library of MP3 files that we would like people to be able to select and play over the phone -- and this will require pause & resume, as well as fast forward / reverse (jump forward / jump back). It doesn't seem like mpg123 can do this. Is

I don't understand that reaction to packaging. mplayer uses a variety of libraries to support a large variety of media types. It doesn't include servers or SUID binaries, so it doesn't carry a significant security risk, and
