make_dev_physpath_alias
Hello all. I have a supermicro 16 bay box with a LSI 9211-8i card. We use it for temp data storage, and we wanted to try the l4z compression. After updating the source tree to r247839: and doing a make buildworld cycle all works fine. But at boot time we get some warnings. make_dev_physpath_alias: WARNING - Unable to alias gptid/281951f4-a996-11e1-83eb-00259061b51a to enc at

Hi everyone Firstly, apologies for the cross post, I am not sure which list is most appropriate for this question. I should also point out, that I did not install OCFS2 and I am not the person that normally looks after these kind of things, so please can you bear that in mind when you make any suggestions (I will need a lot of detail!) out of HDD space - zfs degraded
Overnight I was running a zfs send | zfs receive (both within the same system / zpool). The system ran out of space, a drive went off line, and the system is degraded. This is a raidz2 array running on FreeBSD 8.1-STABLE #0: Sat Sep 18 23:43:48 EDT 2010. The following logs are also available at http://www.langille.org/tmp/zfs-space.txt <- no line wrapping This is what was running: #

[LLVMdev] llc barfing
I was playing with optimization switches to llc to see how fast I could get it to compile but it keeps barfing. Tinkering indicates that llc barfs particularly when -tailcallopt is given in combination with other flags. For example, without -tailcallopt works in a couple of ways: $ llc -O0 -f aout.bc -o aout.s $ llc -O0 --regalloc=local -f aout.bc -o aout.s But fails with -tailcallopt with

reboot sometimes freezes, adaptic scsi card possible problem
On reboot, one out of 10 times, reboot (from hardware initialization) stops. Referring to this portion of the dmesg -v output, of a successful boot, where i have marked ">>>HERE<<<" is where the boot freezes on an unsuccessful boot. This is a constnat problem, on 6.2 as well as 6.3 unchanged. ata0-master: pio=PIO4 wdma=WDMA2 udma=UDMA33 cable=40 wire acd0: setting

[PATCH 0/9] Quota support for ocfs2-tools (version 2)
Hi, this is the next version of quota support for quota tools. I've addressed all the comments of Tao, Joel and others. Sparse feature disabling also correctly updates quota information now and the patch is merged into the tunefs support patch. Honza

[PATCH 0/8] Quota support for ocfs2-tools
Hi, I'm sending a series of patches implementing quota support into ocfs2-tools. It's the same as the original huge patch I've sent but now it's split as Joel asked. I've also realized that when disabling SPARSE feature, we should update quota information. That piece of code is missing, I'll implement it soon. Comments welcome. Honza
