Digitially Imported radio - let's ask for Vorbis
Digitally Imported radio (http://di.fm) is considering adding Ogg Vorbis streams and I'd love to see that happen. Probably they are trying to get an idea how many people will use the Vorbis streams to decide if it will be worthwhile (they're also considering other formats--WMA, mp3pro, and other evils). So if you are a DI listener, please make your voice heard that WE WANT OGG! There

Networking problems - Fedora 3/samba/Win XP
After pulling out most of my hair, someone told me of this mailing list. He suggested you may be able to help. Rather than describing my problem again (it goes on for a while, sorry). Could one of you brain surgeons look at the following link and try and shed some light. Thanks in advance:

SIS900 NIC [on board], pay some attention, please !
Hello there ! I was writing to freebsd lists some time ago, again asking for some help about SIS900 NIC. Then some other people also complained that the sis900 driver that comes with FreeBSD 4.x and FreeBSD-CURRENT (later 5.0) doesn't actually work at all. So some patches were released and also the drivers in -STABLE and -CURRENT were also updated. And guess what, it is still not working on

neat, how ironic is it that you can stream mp3pro with the Shoutcast DNAS, but their YP will not let you list if you do so...talk about your mixed messages... and I'm all open to any ideas on promoting our own YP directory... oddsock At 06:58 PM 3/6/2004, you wrote: >http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=172236 > >its like they think there the only webcasting

Intel SS4200-E?
Has anyone tried runing zfs on the Intel SS4200-E [1],[[2]? Doesn''t have a video port, but you could replace the IDE flash DOM with a pre-installed system. I''m interested in this as a four disk smallish (34x41x12) portable ZFS appliance. Seems that people have got it running with Linux/Openfiler [3], and the process a Celeron 420 is 64bit. [1]

Getting Samba3.0.9 to work on Debian(woody) for AD Authentication
Hi, I am using samba 3.0.9 on Debian (woody) IA 64 bit server. I have made a post on linuxquestions.org which contains my compilation and its arguments, krb5.conf, smb.conf, also my kinit and wbinfo -u, g, t, all of which work. I also have the official samba guide and samba by example. I do not have telnet installed and have tried to configure my SSH PAM options. I was wondering if anyone

Help for oh323
Hi Friends, Hope you would help me out here, I have searched the asterisk user list for hours and also read the readme and test files that comes with the driver. I need a very simple scenario. I have SIP clients and want to use oh323 to dial out to PSTN using a h323 gateway. a)If I set the extention.conf like this: exten => _87.,1,Dial(OH323/16.52.153.206) oh323 dials out (I can ring a

H323 dropping connections
FC2 Asterisk 1.0 When I dial a H323 dialup to an existing OKI Voip Router (BV1250), I get an EndedByRefusal yet the OKI Gateway is setup with the corrent reply ip addresses etc etc, unfortunately its an existing multiple voip router setup with g723.1 and g729a, so changing the codec on the router maybe an issue. I have compile in the h323 as per the channels/h323 setup with the listed libraries.

OH323 + G729 + Go2Call
hi .. i've just installed and licensed an instance of the G729 codec. I am trying to connect through asterisk to Go2Call server .. According to their info it involves dialling extension 729 on voip01.go2call.com, to get the IVR. my extensions.conf shows : exten => s,2,Dial(OH323/h323:729@216.52.153.206) which I think is correct, I have G729 enabled in the OH323.conf file and it seems to

Fwd: [bug & patch] libstdc++ in linux_base-7.1_3
Hey guys, hope you don't mind this forward email, because I have been reading the 'flashpluginwrapper problem.' subject. The bug is in the linux_base, but nobody seem to check on this in the freebsd-ports. Looks like Brandon D. Valentine might needs to create a PR to get the better attention and keep the track. Cheers, Mezz >Summary: > >This began as a problem report
