Removing dependent packages is required. Removing unused dependencies is optional.
dnf remove *subscription* --noautoremove
should remove the dependent packages but keep thee unused dependencies if you want them.
There's also a setting in /etc/dnf/dnf.conf to set the default behaviour of the autoremove

video problem since 2015-04-01 update
Hello!
No updates for days until 2015-04-01. Then presented with huge steaming
pile of updates all at once, apparently related to Centos 7.1 release.
Not thinking about it being April Fools Day, I immediately did:
yum -v check-update, then
yum -v update
then rebooted.
After reboot, there is a problem with the video. It seems to flicker when
the mouse pointer touches the screen edges.

tigervnc-server-module crashes after EL 6.3 update
We began experiencing failed vnc connections to the console display on
servers that have been updated to EL 6.3. No such failures have occurred
on similar connections to EL 6.2 servers.
On the client machine a normal vncviewer display appears with the
expected graphical login until the mouse pointer is moved within the
boundaries of the vncviewer window. At this point the window closes and

video problem since 2015-04-01 update
Well, it could be the same, but the bug report does seem to refer to the
bug being in kernel series 3.18. I am just using whatever 3.10 series
kernel comes standard with Centos 7.x.
I don't know anything about bug reports, and I an not familiar with
swapping out kernels in Centos.
BTW, is El Repo another name for the EPEL repository?

Fwd: ABRT Daemon/sosreport disaster
On Sunday, I did a "yum update" which installed kernel
2.6.32-573.3.1.el6.i686 on half a dozen virtual machines running
CentOS 6.7.
Since then, two of them have gone into "meltdown", and started spewing
"ABRT Daemon" emails: one on Tuesday, and one tonight.
The machines have a very light workload -- one runs "trac", and a handful
of development systems,

ABRT interpretation / guidance needed
Greetings -
I have a Centos 6 box fully updated that intermittently sends me an
"[abrt] full crash report" email. I am not familiar with these at all and
in my limited google search have not found good information to interpret
this information. The most recent (and the most frequent one) is listed
below, also I have listed the lines from /var/log/messages that correspond

Thunderbird randomly segfaults at startup
Anyone else seeing this? This is happening on a straight "Desktop" install
of CentOS 6.6 fully updated. I have made no changes other than installing
Thunderbird. Thunderbird will occasionally (10 to 20% of the time) fail to
start, and the abrt report indicates a signal 11 (SIGSEGV). I don't see
any other reports of this. Is no one using Thunderbird these days?
Do abrt reports
