ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension (win server 2003/2008 ruby 1.9.1/1.8.7)
I am trying to install mongrel_service gem on Windows (although this problem seems to hold for any non-compiled gem). I have tried this with Windows Server 2003 and 2008. Also with Ruby version 1.8.7 and 1.9.1 (Luis Lavena''s one click installer). Both with the same result. The error message (full text below) mentions that I have to install development tools first. I have installed MinGW

Released Pigeonhole v0.5.2.rc1 for Dovecot v2.3.2.rc1.
Hello Dovecot users, Here is the Pigeonhole release candidate that goes with the Dovecot v2.3.2 release candidate. Much like version 0.4.24 for Dovecot v2.2, this release consists mostly of fixes that accumulated over the last few months. Beyond that, this release contains the new IMAP FILTER=SIEVE capability, which was also released earlier with 2.2.24 (with a few additional fixes).

possible bug in ggplot2 v0.5.2???
Dear R-Users, I recently gave a try to the nice package ggplot2. Everything went well until I tried to add a smoother (using lm method for instance). On the graphic device the regression line is displayed but not confidence intervals as it should be (at least on ggplot website). I tried to do the job on both MS winXP and Linux i586: same result. Did anyone encountered this problem? Did I miss

Segment error loading rails
I have downloaded ruby 1.9.1 binaries to c:\ruby191 (I have ruby 1.8.6 under c:\ruby). I then downloaded gems 1.3.1 and ran "gem install rails --include-dependencies" from c:\ruby191\bin and it ran and came up with a segment error and killed the rails install. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks Chris -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
