Fw: re. win32-process
Hi all,
Any ideas for the question below? I know how to do this in theory - make the ''inherit'' flag true, and set the ''stdout'' and ''stderr'' startf_flags hash options to something in the startup_info hash, but I wasn''t sure how to do this in practice.
It would be nice if the answer could be something like this:

Question on CreateProcess and handle inheritance
Hi,
I just wanted to make sure that I''m not confused by Michael Buselli''s
comment and patch. As far as I can tell, if you set the bInheritHandle
in the SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES structure that''s passed to CreateProcess to
true, it''s the same as calling SetHandleInformation(handle,
HANDLE_FLAG_INHERIT, HANDLE_FLAG_INHERIT) after the fact.
CreateProcess:

FFI and msvcrt
Hi,
I''ve been using FFI with a Ruby 1.9.3 built with MSVC++ and it''s been
working well. One thing I''ve run into though is this:
ffi_lib :msvcrt
But that''s not the runtime I want. But I don''t want to hard code the
runtime name either. I realize I could parse it out of RbConfig, but I
was hoping for something nicer.
Is there a way we could create an

Running an R script from Delphi 7
Gentlepersons:
A long time ago I used to be able to start R (version 2.6.1) from a
Delphi 7 program and run a script by using a procedure like the following:
function StartRAndWait (CommandLine : string) : Boolean;
var
Proc_info: TProcessInformation;
Startinfo: TStartupInfo;
ExitCode: longword;
CreateOK : Boolean;
begin
Result := False;
{ Initialize the structures }

Fwd: win32/process - small bug?
It might be a bit before I can get to this, so I thought I''d pass it on.
Also, while I was stuck in the airport in Minneapolis, I decided that
the getrlimit method should be refactored to remove the process from
the job (if it wasn''t already in one) after it''s finished, if
possible.
