Mix of PHP and HTML files.
Most of my website is static HTML, but I do have a couple PHP pages. I''d like the default template to be applied to it (i.e. I don''t want it to just be copied).
How can I get webgen to create the PHP file with the right extension in the output directory? A way to specify the following mapping would be nice:
*.php.page -> *.php
*.page -> *.html
Thanks.

Haml & Sass
I would like to use Haml for pages (and possibly templates) and Sass
for CSS. But I am a webgen newbie and can''t figure out the
configuration. Is such a configuration possible? Could someone help me
set it up?

HOWTO install webgen 0.5.6 on Debian GNU/Linux etch
Hi all,
Cristian our sys-admin wrote a short HOWTO for Webgen 0.5.6 on Debian
Etch, see https://wiki.fsfe.org/FellowshipHacks/Webgen.
I thought it might be of interest for others as well. If you know a
better way, please let us know.
Best wishes,
Matthias

R Code and the Pygments Python SyntaxHighlighter
Dear R Help,
is someone going to write a R/S language lexer for the Pygments Python syntax
highlighter <http://pygments.org/>? As it is used now by Trac, Django, or the
Python documentation tool Sphinx, the R community can apply it in Python-based
Wikis like Moinmoin and others.

[Using webgen 0.4.5, ruby 1.8.5, Ubuntu Linux 7.04]
I want "index.page" to use "index.template" and all other pages to use "default.template".
Attempt 1: Just set the "template" key in "index.page":

title: "Index Page"
template: index.page
--- content, markdown

Result: "index.page" gets rendered with

custom menu plugin not working in 0.4.4
I was pushing out a new version of a site I have that I think was last
generated with webgen 0.4.1. Since my gems are updated to 0.4.4 I''m getting
this error when running ''webgen''. I''ve reverted back to 0.4.2 and that is the
version where this custom vertical menu plugin starts breaking. So I''m not
sure what has changed to cause this. I get this

[LLVMdev] Language Reference bug?
Hi,
The language reference uses "::" many places where it seems it should be
using ".. code-block:: llvm". The result is that Sphinx does not colorize
these samples.
Should I fix this? Or is it purposeful?
Also, anybody but me that has noticed that Sphinx does not always colorize
things even if you put the proper ".. code-block:: llvm" in front? If it

submitting a patch
I''ve created a short patch so that spec.opts can use a single line
(or multiple lines for backwards compatibility) for options. I''ve
run the specs against spec:trunk
I have two questions:
1. I''ve run rake pre_commit, but after the specs are done running, I
get this error:
rake aborted!

Hey everybody!
--------------
webgen 0.5.11 has just been released! If you don''t know what webgen is,
read the "What''s webgen?" section down below.
This announcement is also available at

In this release there are two big changes regarding the internals of
webgen:

Generate static menus?
I want to stack three horizontal menus on top of each other, and also
define exactly what page will be in each menu. What files and syntax
do I use in webgen to accomplish this? I tried finding the answer here
and in the docs but could not figure it out.
I would also like to style each menu a bit differently if that is
possible. Actual examples especially appreciated!
Thanks!

Multi-Tenant PBX with Asterisk
Hi
I came across couple of pointers on the Internet regarding solutions
available for providing hosted PBX service.
1. Multiple PBXs: Using separate hardware to host each PBX. Pretty
straightforward, but no hosting company wants to use it.
2. Multi-tenant PBX: Configuring multiple PBXs within the same instance of
Asterisk. I.e. partitioning a single instance of Asterisk into multiple
PBXs by way

RFC: Block starting line of Webgen Page Format
Hello everybody,
I''m currently deciding whether to simplify the block starting line of
the Webgen Page Format. Currently one can specify arbitrary key:value
pairs on the block starting line, e.g.
--- name:test pipeline:erb,kramdown option:value
(see http://webgen.rubyforge.org/documentation/webgen_page_format.html)
However, I don''t think that these options ever get used

Webgeb 0.5.x possible in Windows XP?
Hi Colin,
I think fcgi is only required for testing. I do without it and
directly open the output files in my browser. Maybe try saying no to
ramaze or whatever depends on fcgi?

Poll for new default website style
Hi everybody,
after looking a bit around the Internet and checking which website
style some users of webgen are using, I found that many people just
stay at the default webgen website style (which is not really pretty ;-)
So, I''m thinking about changing the default webgen website style to
something more Web-2.0-ish, and I would like to know if there is a
particular website style

[new user] some features requests ...
Hi,
After many tries, i''ve decided to give up dynamic websites, which
definitely do not match my needs, and instead replace my blog by a
webgen site. I''ve however some unanswered questions.
1) RSS
One of the main interest of dynamic website is the ability to provide
user a view to last updated pages, thanks to RSS. Is there a way for
webgen to generate a RSS file from last

Plugin installation similar to rails
Hey all,
I''m considering including a plugin installation mechanism similar to
the one available with the rails script/plugin command in the next
major webgen version.
There would be a repository index located on the webgen homepage,
something like http://webgen.rubyforge.org/plugin-repository.yaml.
This file contains a list of repositories (http and ftp) which
provide webgen
