Contributing packages
I have recently built and packaged httpd-2.4.9 from source provided by
apache.org together with apr-1.5.0 and apr-util-1.5.3. I removed
mod_socache_dc from the httpd.spec file so that the complete build provides
the following packages:
apr-1.5.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
apr-debuginfo-1.5.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
apr-devel-1.5.0-1.el6.x86_64.rpm

trying to get the debug version of httpd so I can use it in conjunction with gdb.
I am trying to get the debug version of httpd so I can use it in
conjunction with gdb. I am having a hard time getting them, and they don't
seem to be in the standard epel-debuginfo repository. What should I do?

can i get .spec file for apache httpd of centos?
Hi All,
Currently my system is using httpd 2.2.27. As there were many Vulnerability fixes released under 2.2.29, I would like to upgrade the Apache httpd.
My system is having CentOS 6.5.
I checked on CentOS Repos using yum but could not find the latest httpd rpm from there. So I am building the httpd rpm from the source tar ball downloaded from apache site.
I am able to build the rpm successfully

only one puppet client fails with yum

I am sharing a yum configuration in a class (centos.pp) between two
nodes. But the yum configuration doesn''t apply at all to one node
even tho it does to another identically configured node.

Race Condition In PHP Session Handler
php-5.3.3-3.el6_2.6.x86_64
2.6.32-220.4.2.el6.x86_64
After some testing we moved our production PHP intranet site from an old
server to a new CentOS 6.2 instance running the mentioned versions. At
first it worked well and then user's started to experience a hung site.
Upon some digging it appears that the PHP module is getting stuck in a
race condition regarding the sessions file -

Debug file for -42.0.2 i686 MD5 NOT OK
Downloaded from http://vault.centos.org/debuginfo/4/i386/
The file I received was
23-Aug-2006 06:18 298M.
My ls showed 312932522. I presume this is an approximate match.
Validation failed.
# rpm --checksig kernel-debuginfo-2.6.9-42.0.2.EL.i686.rpm
kernel-debuginfo-2.6.9-42.0.2.EL.i686.rpm: sha1 MD5 NOT OK
The i586 file validates OK.

Indeed, though I can say on CentOS 5 the required configuration to be
PCI compliand is not valid in apache, and httpd will not start.

C5 i386 kernel-debuginfo-common-2.6.18-8.1.3.el5.i686.rpm from vault
Is anyone else having trouble getting some RPMs from vault? When I navigate to
http://vault.centos.org/debuginfo/5/i386/
...and try to click on (e.g.) kernel-PAE-debuginfo-2.6.18-8.1.3.el5.i686.rpm I
get 404 errors (The requested URL /debuginfo/5/i386/kernel-PAE-debuginfo-2.6.18
-8.1.3.el5.i686.rpm was not found on this server). But then if I wait a while
and try again, maybe I get it.

where are debuginfo packages for CentOS 4.4?
I checked all the usual suspects without success.
Specifically, I'm looking for debuginfo packages for the updates kernels.

Building and packaging httpd
Hi,
Am rebuilding httpd from scratch to enable http2 and minimize extra
modules on Cent Os 8. Am having trouble understanding the spec file [0]
and systemd initialization [1][2][3] (these are very similar to those
extracted from [4]). Why are 3 scripts needed to start the service and
why is a pid setting not needed as used in the httpd.service file at [5]?

Kernel debug info?
Ok, I got blktrace installed, but I also have some blktrace
system taps that I want to test out, but it seems I need to
have the kernel debug info installed to get systemtap
working.
Anyone know where the CentOS kernel-debuginfo RPMs are
located?

debuginfo and debuginfo-common for PAE with systemtap
I want to use systemtap on a 5.3 system but cannot find supporting
kernel-PAE-debuginfo or kernel-debuginfo-common packages. Am I being a
noob, or do these not exist for the PAE kernel?

Need help with spec file for Apache-2.4.7
I am trying to build an RPM for Apache-2.4.7-1 on Centos-6.5-i86_64. I am
using mock.
The are three build dependencies that I am trying to resolve. One,
mod_socache_dc / distcache, I have simply removed from the spec file. The
other two are arp and apr-utils. Since httpd-2.4.7 needs arp >= 1.4 I got the
two latter requirements from
http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/httpd-2.4.7-deps.tar.bz2
