Possible bug in adjusting PHINode from removePredecessor?
Hi, Simple description of the problem below. passing an entire hash to an action
Is it possible to pass the entire contents of a hash to an action via link_to_remote? I know that when you want to pass a value you say link_to_remote("link name", :url => {:action=>"some action", :someName => someVal} ) This works for when you want to pass strings but I want to be able to pass a reference to a list of models that is stored in a hash to the

Matrix problem to extract animal associations
Dear List, I have been trying to extract associations from a matrix whereby individual locations are within a certain distance threshold from one another. I have been able to extract those individuals where there is 'no interaction' (i.e. where these individuals are not within a specified distance threshold from another individual) and give these individuals a unique Group ID containing

rsync for DOS
I have recently completed a port of rsync to DOS. It is compiled using Borland C 3.1 to run in real-mode DOS (because my target was a hand-held computer with little memory). There are a few compromises, for example it is client only, it does not support rsh or ssh and the file names on the server must be in DOS format if they are to be sync'd correctly. There is more information and a

Template problem
Hi All, I have been bashing my head against the wall with this template problem. I have tried numerous variations on this, but the gist of it is this: When I create a template of over 105 (or so) lines, I get various strange error messages. Those messages vary depending on very tiny changes with the template (such as adding a single text line or variable). Sometimes the errors look like this:

Fitdistr() versus nls()
Hello R-Users, I'm new to R so I apologize in advance for any big mistake I might be doing. I'm trying to fit a set of samples with some probabilistic curve, and I have an important question to ask; in particular I have some data, from which I calculate manually the CDF, and then I import them into R and try to fit: I have the x values (my original samples) and the y values

multiple files with same attributes
I''m almost afraid to ask because this probably sticks out like a sore thumb on the wiki somewhere, and I''m just not seeing it. But I have a bunch of files with the same owner/mode. Is there a way to somehow collapse these, so that all I repeat is the file name? Example: file { "/opt/test/1": owner => "jtan", group =>
