Updated mirrorlist for 4.9 in vault?
I have just tried to update to 4.9 a system that was installed from a 4.8 local repo. Because 4.9 has been moved to vault, as described by Johnny in http://www.linux-archive.org/centos/638644-centos4-rhel4-upstream-effective-eol.html, the mirrorlist file basically contains invalid information. http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=4.9&arch=i386&repo=os To avoid the faff of having to edit

CentOS-Vault missing CentOS 6.7
Hey all, I needed to pull some rpms from the CentOS 6.7 vault for compatibility testing. I noticed that 6.7 wasn't in the Vault repo file yet, but that the repos exist. I was just wondering what the ETA is for the Vault repo file to be updated with 6.7. Thanks, Will

CentOS 6.5 Vault Repository missing
Hey all, I went to go and pull some rpms from the CentOS 6.5 vault, but the CentOS-Vault repo file is referencing urls that no longer exist. Navigating to the URL, I noticed that the OS folder now only contains the SOURCE folder. I noticed that this is also true for 6.6, 7.0, and others. I already have the most up-to-date centos-release rpm. I've done some searching and can't find any

Is anyone else having trouble getting some RPMs from vault? When I navigate to http://vault.centos.org/debuginfo/5/i386/ ...and try to click on (e.g.) kernel-PAE-debuginfo-2.6.18-8.1.3.el5.i686.rpm I get 404 errors (The requested URL /debuginfo/5/i386/kernel-PAE-debuginfo-2.6.18 -8.1.3.el5.i686.rpm was not found on this server). But then if I wait a while and try again, maybe I get it. Is

centos vault
We are in need of a remote mirror that provides rsync capabilities for vaulted centos releases. Specifically centos 4.3 but we'll need 4.4 when it is vaulted too. Any helpful links to information on this or a reputable mirror would be fantastic. Thanks.

update repo problem?
I'm trying to install the build dependencies for an SRPM using yum-builddep, and it's telling me that it can't get the repo sqlite file for updates-source from vault. Any ideas? Something wrong with my repo configuration? The only thing I've done that should have touched the repo configuration is installing epel-release-7-1.noarch. Thanks! Eric [root at localhost SRPMS]#

Centos 4 repos help me!
Dear CentOS Community Is totally clear there's no support to Centos 4 platform today, but I need to install some packages -ideally- from repositories, so I'll be glad if someone can provide me still working ones, (obviously non-official). If isn't possible I'll move on CentOS5, but (initially) keeping current PHP and MySQL versions. In both cases, I'll need working CentOS4

CentOS releases and the new and improved CentOS Vault.
There seems to be some confusion over the way we release CentOS, and the release cycle. First, let's define what the upstream provider does. They released RHEL-2.1 (originally RHAS-2.1), RHEL-3 and RHEL-4. Those are specific and unique releases. They have the following Maintenance Phases: Phase 1: Full Support Start Date: General Availability End Date: 2.5 Years from General

os update with plesk
Hi, I have plesk server administration 7.5.4 on my server and am wanting to upgrade to plesk 8. Plesk 8 supports Centos 4.2 and the notes on the 4.2 readme say: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4.2/readme If you know what you are doing, and absolutely want to remain at the 4.2 level, go to http://vault.centos.org/ for packages. If you follow the other link listed in that doc it goes to the
