Wikisource of original docs
Hello,
When it comes to translations, it would be useful to have the original
sources. Is there any place for us translators to pick up a copy? We
do not have edit access to originals.
TIA

Where to find: morley.data
"An Introduction to R" has a sample session in the appendix. One of the
examples looks at the Michaelson and Morley experiment to measure the
speed of light and starts with "file.show("morley.data")".
Where does one find this data table?

morley.dat
Hi,
I am sorry to say, I do not know where the
'morley.dat' is that is mentioned as the sample data
for the sample session on page 80 of Appendix A in the
Introduction to R book.
If you could get back to me soon about that would be
great!
Then I can prepare my next question,
steve

Re: [R-SIG-Mac] morley object?
Hi Ann
Looks like a typo - I see "moreley.tab" that should be "morley.tab".
Works for me after correcting that.

file.show("morley.tab")
I get the response

Converting MySQL database to Xapian
I am looking for some guidance on converting a large MySQL database to Xapian. The current structure is that the database is broken up into 160 "sub-databases". There are 50,000 or so records in each stub database. Each record has content that I am full-text indexing. The average size of the text is about 59k characters. The database is broken up into sub-databases because the MySQL
