Problex with Matrox G450 and XFree86 4.3.0 on 4.8-STABLE
Hi All
I have just finished a re-install of a box that was previously working fine
under 4.7.
The problem is that the matrox drm kernel module is failinf to initialise
correctly.

technical low-end possibilities of xgl?
Hello. I know this is off topic but sorry I cannot google out where xgl
people discuss things (don't find an xgl mailing list) nor documents
about this.
Currently xgl supports modern ATI/Nvidia cards, is there any reason why
older cards are not supported? Is it because old cards are not powerful
enough, or is it because xgl is using some new 3D technologies? (OpenGL
2.0?)
How about cards

Dovecot, LDAP and something akin to Postfix' "table search order" from virtual deliver.
hi, i've found this topic while looking for a solution for the way to
use 'mail groups' with dovecot an postfix, using dovecot as LDA.
i'm not sure if this patch is implemented into the source or not.
or maybe there is a 'special' way to have multilpe mailboxes served by
postfix/dovecot?

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-video-mga 2.0.0
This is a maintenance release of Matrox DDX.
Just for disclosure, the code is currently broken for Millennium, Millennium II, and G550.
For those models, you may have to disable acceleration to workaround the issue. (the workaround is untested)
The code is untested on Mystique and G100 due to lack of access to the hardware at this time.
The code works generally okay on G200, G400, and G450.

Clipped screen when using multiple X screens (regression) ?
Please see the Ubuntu bug report for photographs and logs of this
problem "Clipped area for multiple X screens with different dimensions":
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/331918
Thanks to some great support and suggestions in #compiz-fusion-dev I've
made some progress in trying to pin this issue down.
I've operated with compiz and multiple X screens for

Dovecot + Windows AD + Postfix + quota
Hello,
I'm almost sure that all topics and problems mentioned below were
separately posted to this list already. But after spending 4 days on
searching, I did'n find a compilation similar to my case. So maybe
some of you guys, are able to answer to help me solve this:
1. I'd like to use userdb and passdb of Dovetcot to work with Windows AD.
2. I have to use them both because I'd

[GIT PULL] devel/pat + devel/kms.fixes-0.5
Hey Jeremy,
Please pull from devel/pat (based off your xen/dom0/core tree) which
has one patch:
Konrad Rzeszutek Wilk (1):
xen/pat: make pte_flags(x) a pvops function.
which is neccessary for the drivers/gpu/drm/radeon driver to work
properly with AGP based cards (which look to be the only ones that
try to set WC on pages).
Also please pull from devel/kms.fixes-05 (based off your

kronecker(... , make.dimnames=TRUE)
Hi
I'm using kronecker() with a matrix and a vector. I'm interested in
the column names that kronecker() returns:
> a <- matrix(1:9,3,3)
> rownames(a) <- letters[1:3]
> colnames(a) <- LETTERS[1:3]
> b <- c(x=1,y=2)
> kronecker(a,b,make.dimnames=TRUE)
A: B: C:
a:x 1 4 7
a:y 2 8 14
b:x 2 5 8
b:y 4 10 16
c:x 3 6 9
c:y 6 12 18

Shorewall performance
I have a couple of firewalls that are rather complicated - one has 21
interfaces, and the other has about 50 (there''s some heavy use of
802.1q, they only have half a dozen network cards). They work okay,
but - compiling the rules takes a long time even on the faster
servers, and restarting shorewall-lite takes between 5 and 10 minutes
(during which time, only the routestopped stuff will

Request: kronecker to get a sep= argument
kronecker, with make.dimnames=TRUE uses a hardwired sep=":" in the line
tmp <- outer(dnx[[i]], dny[[i]], FUN = "paste", sep = ":")
For an application in which dimnames arise from an n-way array, where
different dimensions have
different roles, and I would like to be able to use kronecker in the form

Two apparent bugs in aov(y~ *** -1 + Error(***)), with suggested (PR#6510)
I think there are two bugs in aov() that shows up when the right hand
side of `formula' contains both `-1' and an Error() term, e.g.,
aov(y ~ a + b - 1 + Error(c), ...). Without `-1' or `Error()' there
is no problem. I've included and example, and the source of aov()
with suggested fixes below.
The first bug (labeled BUG 1 below) creates an extra, empty stratum

Two apparent bugs in aov(y~ *** -1 + Error(***)), with (PR#6520)
I believe you are right, but can you please explain why anyone would want
to fit this model? It differs only in the coding from
aov(y ~ a + b + Error(c), data=test.df)
and merely lumps together the top two strata.
There is a much simpler fix: in the line
if(intercept) nmstrata <- c("(Intercept)", nmstrata)
remove the condition (and drop the empty stratum later if you
