[PATCH][ioemu] support the assignment of the VF of Intel 82599 10GbE Controller
The datasheet is available at
http://download.intel.com/design/network/datashts/82599_datasheet.pdf
See 'Table 9.7. VF PCIe Configuration Space' of the datasheet, the PCI
Express Capability Structure of the VF of Intel 82599 10GbE Controller looks
trivial, e.g., the PCI Express Capabilities Register is 0, so the Capability
Version is 0 and pt_pcie_size_init() would fail.

Problems with reading data by readWorksheetFromFile of XLConnect Package
Hi,
Attached are two datasheet to be read.
My raw data "130502temp.xlsx" contains numbers with ' symbols, and they
can't be read as numbers. Even if I copy and paste as numbers to form a new
file "130502temp_number1.xlsx", they could not be read smoothly.
1. How can I read the datasheet as numbers?
2. How can I treat the notation "-" as (1)

Big datasheet

avoiding for loops
I have data that looks like this:
> df1
group id
1 red A
2 red B
3 red C
4 blue D
5 blue E
6 blue F
I want a list of the groups containing vectors with the ids. I am
avoiding subset(), as it is
only recommended for interactive use. Here's what I have so far:
df1 <- data.frame(group=c("red", "red", "red", "blue",

Splitting Datasets
On R 2.12 for Mac OSX, I have a dataset with both numerical and
character values.
I want to split dataset "ZIDL", into individual datasets based on the
string content of variable "Dept".
I can create one subset dataset at a time using a script I found on the
net, but rather than run the same function 17 times, can R look at the
"Dept" variable and create

Cisco 3950 ip phone
Hi,
https://community.cisco.com/t5/ip-telephony-and-phones/cp-3905-asterisk/td-p/1995981
The phone does work, you do need to TFTP the configuration files to the
phone though. Doesn't look like custom firmware is required.

C7, igb and DCB support for pause frame ?
Hi there,
I?m working on deploying our new cluster.
Masters have 5?1gbps (i210 and i350, thus using igb.ko), configured
with mtu 9000, 802.3ad. Works fine *but* I can?t get DCB working
(pause frame, aka flow control, which is supported by and enabled on
our switches).

NUT supporting Modbus TCP
Yeah, I have its datasheet (it's a Xantrex XW invertor by the way). I do not know why creating a more-or-less generic driver is an issue. Of course, there are Modbus beasts that can scare everyone but mostly one would need to read either intreger or float numbers out of Modbus registers in order to decide whether or not to start or stop the shutdown process.

You can try nvtv (http://sourceforge.net/projects/nv-tv-out/). It bypasses
X and modesetting and programs the Brooktree and CRTC directly. I've

HP DL585 G2 -- no nics
Hi folks,
I've just spent about six hours messing around with an HP DL585 G2
server trying to get CentOS to go.
This box is a dual-CPU with dual cores and 10GB of RAM total.
According to the datasheet, the POST screens, and the BIOS, it has
the Broadcom embedded NICs in it.
The problem boils down to the installed OS (4.4 x86_64) not seeing
the NICs. If you do an lspci on the system

Bisect: i2c regression in 63daa9589cb88617d9cc8a0b0282564682a975b7
Hi.
Updating nouveau module to a newer git revision, I noticed I lost hwmon.
I ran a bisect, which identified 63daa9589cb88617d9cc8a0b0282564682a975b7 as
being the first bad commit.
Adding printk traces, I saw that probing i2c bus 3 for sensors always failed
with -EIO (no ack from slave). After reading the code, remembering how i2c
works and reading sample code on wikipedia, I couldn't

1. Where can I download it?
2. Which outlets are FXS/FXO ??? (depending on the green /red card

3. Does it need the extra power??

asterisk and vad/cng
Hi List,
i've set up a cisco 7912 for my asterisk box. I've had problems with
VAD and CNG. After googling a bit, i've found an article about asterisk
not supporting these two protocols, therefore it's better to turn them off.
Since then i did not found answer to my two questions, maybe somebody
here could help me:
a) am i even able to turn off vad/cng on cisco 7912? SIP
