Makefiles: includes and rule prerequisites
1) mk/syslinux.mk runs a shell to make a temp file gcc_ok.$$$$.tmp (perhaps in the wrong directory) while several Makefiles have an include rule for *.tmp which I believe is causing some occasional parallel build issues. make[3]: Entering directory `/home/gene/s/g/bios/memdump' gcc_ok.6333.tmp:1: warning: NUL character seen; rest of line ignored gcc_ok.6333.tmp:1: *** missing separator.

[nbdkit PATCH] filters: Improve docs on .prepare prerequisites
Since .prepare is called before client negotiation has completed, filters have an additional burden to ensure prerequisite functions are called in order to avoid triggering assertions in backend.c. How to require a defined type...
Hi all, I''m struggling with the following: I have a defined type wrapped in a class: class myclass { define mytype(bla) { file { "blabla": .... } exec { "blablabla": ... } } } And I access the defined type in my other class by doing this: class otherclass { include myclass myclass::mytype { "alb": ... } # and here I want to

machine network interfaces, dhcpd.conf, and zone files
I''m still thinking about how my puppet deployment will go. Right now, I''m thinking each of my machines will have their network interfaces defined/configured by puppet. But, I''d like to generate my zone files and dhcpd.conf from this data as well. How do people generally do this? I expect I''ll end up generating the nodes.pp files from some database, but

R^2 analogue in polr() and prerequisites for polr()
Hi (1)In polr(), is there any way to calculate a pseudo analogue to the R^2. Just for use as a purely descriptive statistic of the goodness of fit? (2) And: what are the assumptions which must be fulfilled, so that the results of polr() (t-values, etc.) are valid? How can I test these prerequisites most easily: I have a three-level (ordered factor) response and four metric variables. many

GCC prerequisites for building LLVM head?
I've no idea, but without it, the 'std::to_string' definitions are not enabled! -----Original Message----- From: Renato Golin [mailto:renato.golin at linaro.org] Sent: 06 July 2016 19:35 To: Martin.ORiordan at movidius.com Cc: LLVM Developers <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> Subject: Re: [llvm-dev] GCC prerequisites for building LLVM head? Idealx script prerequisites?
I'm trying to setup a PDC (and later on a BDC as well) using samba 3.02a and openLDAP 2.2.13 and I'm having some trouble with the idealx scripts. When I run the command /usr/local/sbin/smbldap-useradd alex I get the message: Can't locate object method "new" via package "Net::LDAP" (perhaps you forgot to load "Net::LDAP"?) at

GCC prerequisites for building LLVM head?
Sorry for the delay, I had to experiment and build everything to be sure. I am actually getting the same problem with GCC v4.9.3 on CentOS, but for both Cygwin and Linux adding '-D_GLIBCXX_USE_C99' to the '-DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS:STRING=' flag during configuration cured the problem. GCC prerequisites for building LLVM head?
I just checked with '-E' and I am picking up '<string>' from: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc/cygwin/4.9.3/include/c++/string all other C++ headers are coming from the same place. The 'std::to_string' functions are not present in '<string>', but they are located in '<bits/basic_string.h>' - which is included. Perhaps it is a broken Cygwin

GCC prerequisites for building LLVM head?
Is there is minimum required version for GCC to build LLVM from the head revision? I have GCC v4.9.3, but 'Tools/sancov/sancov.cc' won't build because 'std::to_string' does not exist. When running CMake it did not flag GCC v4.9.3 as too old, and it is passing the '-std=gnu++11' option, but apparently this version of GCC is not fully C++ 11 compliant, or at least

Fixing filenames with directories with spaces in the names
Should be simple and perhaps I'm tired but it's not coming to me. In its simplest form... for old in `cat "$FILENAME"`;do echo "$old" dirname "$old" new="$(echo $old | sed 's/\*/\-/')" done I'm trying to take out some stupid Macintosh things - in this case filenames with asterisks but I have others like tilde's and probably
