THE EQUIVALENT OF SQL INNER TABLE JOIN IN R
Hello all,
Apologize for the newbie question. What's the easiest way to do a SQL inner
table join in R?
Say I have a table containing column names A, B, C and another which has
columns named C, D, E. I would like to do an inner table join on C and
produce a table A, B, C, D, E.
thanks a lot,
N.

sql query over local tables
Hi i have to table with IDs in each one.
I want to make a join (as in sql) by the ID. Is any way to use the RODBC
package (or other) in local tables (not a access, mysql, sql, etc. ) and
made the join?
Thanks in advance

converting character strings to numbers
I have a comma delimited text file in which many columns of numbers are
also quoted and have commas as well as decimals. I was surprised to find
read.csv() didn't import this seamlessly, even after messing around with
the colClasses argument. I did find a solution to convert the character
strings after reading them in, but wonder if there isn't a better one I
overlooked.

function in R that's equivalent to SQL's "IN"
Hi all,
I'm trying to find
something like the "==" operator that will work on vectors or something
equivalent to SQL's "IN" function. For e.g., if I have:
x <- c(1,2,3,4,5)
y <- c("apples", "oranges", "grapes", "bananas", "pears")
z <- data.frame (x,y)
w <- c(2,4,5)
I want R to return the values

LLD PDB Lines zero number issue
OK, maybe I was wrong and the “-use-unknown-locations” option is not the issue root cause.
I'm not familiar with the LLVM codebase and I appreciate any suggestion on how to debug this issue. I'd like to know is it a clang issue or a lld issue? Is there a tool which can dump the obj file debug location info?
Let me simplify the previous test case to reproduce this issue. All what you need

LLD PDB Lines zero number issue
I checked the LLVM master code and find that the “-use-unknown-locations” option and its related logic is only supported for Dwarf debug info as below. These codes are missing in the Codeview side. It looks the “-use-unknown-locations” option logic is not complex, could we port the code logic into llvm\lib\CodeGen\AsmPrinter\CodeViewDebug.cpp as well? I’ve submitted a BZ for this requirment:

LLD PDB Lines zero number issue
Hello Rui,
We meet an LLD PDB issue that if we link assembly code with C code and set >= -O1 level optimization in LTO, the executable's PDB will contain wrong zero Lines for the assembly code in DEBUG_S_LINES subsection, and then our COFF source debuggers will fail to do the source-level debug on the executable. This issue is same in both Linux and Windows, and I figure out a simple case

Error sql en función
Hola:
No consigo que la función sqldf () funcione dentro de una función. Alguien puede echarme una mano. En resumen, el problema es que cuando lo ejecuto fuera de una función no tengo ningún problema:

SQL/R
Dear R users,
I want to aggregate data in the following way:
###
X <- data.frame(u = c("T1","T1","T1","T2"), v=c("a","a","b","a"))
X
library(sqldf)
sqlOut <- sqldf("select count(distinct(v)) from X group by u")
sqlOut

Now I want to get the same result without using SQL. How can I achieve
that ?

Calculating NOEL using R and logistic regression - Toxicology
Hello, I used the glm function in R to fit a dose-response relationship and
then have been using dose.p to calculate the LC50, however I would like to
calculate the NOEL (no observed effect level), ie the lowest dose above
which responses start occurring. Does anyone know how to do this?

SQL-select using native R methods ?
Hi
I have a problem in R that I have been trying to solve but without
success.
I am trying to join two tables on two variables : an ID and a date
(optional) that will be common between the two tables
In SQL (and SAS PROC SQL) I am a frequent user of the "select" command and
I am used to the following nomenclature :
select a.*, b.c, b.y, b.z from table1 a, table2 b where

SQL like function?
Hi RUsers,
I am wonder if I can search observations whose IDs matches any of the
values in another vector, such as in MySQL. While I am learing MySQL for
future database management, I appreciate if anyone could give me a hint.
Suppose I have one 5*1 vector containing observation IDs and
frequencies, and one 3*1 vector containing observation IDs.
observation<-c(1,2,3,4,5)
ID<-c(1,3,4)

Decimals in R/SQL
Hello,
When I am writing in sqldf or RSQLite I lose the decimals in my matrix.
The only way I can get decimals is by multiplying by 1.00000, etc. I
have tried manipulating the options, but it is only effective once I
multiply by 1.0000.
I appreciate any suggestions!
Thanks!
Example:
z <- sqldf ("select ST,
SUM(AGEP*PWGTP)*1.000000000/SUM(PWGTP)*1.00000000000000 as wgtage from
