CRAM-MD5 in Python
Hi to all!
I?m writing a python module (python+sqlalchemy) to manage user and domain configuration on my system (I hope to get a CLI tool, a Web app and even a native Mac app, via PyObjc, from my lib).
I?m implementing password crypto, but I have some problem in generating CRAM-MD5 password, dovecot style.
I?ve found an old discussion on this mailing list and a piece of Perl that works, but I need

What is equivalent to MS OUTLOOK ?
Hi All,
I am looking for an open source email client package that is equivalent to
MS OUTLOOK.
Clients are running Windows XP and Vista and Linux. So the package should be
able to run on both Windows And Linux.
Mail server is running Ms Exchange. So this client pkg should be able to
access Global Address book of the MS Exchange Server just as MS OUTLOOK.
What about evolution ?

Forward only specific identities
Hi OpenSSH peeps!
I have looked around a few man pages and the usual sources of
information but I can't seem to find a way to only forward specific
identities to some hosts. What I would really like to have is a way to
only forward the identity that gave me a successful auth:
% ls ~/.ssh | grep .pub
id_ecdsa.pub
id_ed25519.pub
id_rsa.pub
% cat .ssh/config

Patch to allow DSA as well as RSA identities to be specified on the command line
This patch allows DSA identities to be specified on the command
line. Previously, only RSA identities were allowed.

Using multiple 'peer' identities on one phone with 1.4
Hi!
When using multiple identities on one physical phone (Snom 320), I get
check_auth: username mismatch, have <7705>, digest has <7736>
messages when placing a call from a different account than the first
one. From reading the asterisk source, I can see that the problem is
that peer authentication is not matched against username, but against
ip/port.
I need to have multiple

Samba 2.2 -> 3.0.0 upgrade: questions + Internet Connection Wizard / Identities
Hello,
I just upgraded from Samba 2.2.7 to Samba 3.0.0 on RedHat 9. I did this by uninstalling the 2.2.7 samba RPM's and then applying the Samba 3.0.0 RPM from samba.org, then putting my local changes back into smb.conf. I have also migrated my smb users from smbpasswd to tdbsam with the pdbedit utility as discussed in the HOWTO.
It seems I have to rejoin my client boxes (windows 2000 pro)

Multiple identities
Hi,
I recently moved from courier-imap to dovecot, to be able to work with
managesieve. I use version 1.2.5, on suse 10.3. I used the script to
migrate the courier maildir to dovecot format.
It seems to work fine except for one problem : I use a number of
aliasses and with Thunderbird I can select which alias (e-mail-address)
to use as my identity when sending a mail.
I sniffed with wireshark,

add version 2 identities by default, too
[ I'm not subscribed to this list; please CC any followups to me as
well ]
When a user invokes "ssh-add" with no arguments, I think we should
default to adding both version 1 and version 2 keys. Here's a patch
against the source included with my Debian package of OpenSSH:

OT: Trojita v0.2.9 Released
There was some interest in Trojita (an IMAP client) on this list at one
point. It looks like it's been seeing steady development again:

There's a backtrace and conf files attached. I was able to find this
