[OT] RHEVM List
Greetings, Apologies for Off thread (and possibly stupid) question: Where on the net one can find the RHEV-M general list like this one for centos <rant> I have been tearing my hair for past week to make RHEV work with two boxens. One RHEV H and one running XP with two VMs uner VMware WS. One VM is openfiler for iscsi storage and another VM w2k3 for RHEVM. Search in foogle for the error

[ovirt-users] slow performance with export storage on glusterfs
Hello If you use Gluster as FUSE mount it's always slower than you expect it to be. If you want to get better performance out of your oVirt/Gluster storage, try the following: - create a Linux VM in your oVirt environment, assign 4/8/12 virtual disks (Virtual disks are located on your Gluster storage volume). - Boot/configure the VM, then use LVM to create VG/LV with 4 stripes (lvcreate -i

roadmap & development
Hi there, I'm very interested in oVirt as a management interface for a VM setup we're building, however it seems as though there isn't much info on the product roadmap or active development. I'm wondering if anyone could point me to more information on the roadmap or commit activity on the project? Regards, Anthony -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

virt-v2v trouble converting Xen Centos 5.X to KVM Centos 6.3 or Fedora 17
Hi! I'm trying to convert some Xen guests running Centos 5.8 to KVM on Centos 6.3. Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question, if not, let me know and I'll go there instead! :) My setup: Centos 5.8 Host running Xen with a Centos 5.8 guest, and I want to transfer this guest to a different Centos 6.3 host running KVM. I am able to tweak the target server all I want, but the

Joining the SIG - oVirt project
Hi, I just joined the CentOS-virt call yesterday for the first time and it was a pleasure to meet you there. My name is Sandro Bonazzola[1] and I'm a member of the integration team and the release engineering manager for oVirt project[2]. oVirt is an open source alternative to VMware vSphere, and provides an excellent KVM management interface for multi-node virtualization. On each release we
