vacation plugins for squirrelmail
Hi, I am afraid I have a question to ask of you all. I have just completed setting up a mail server running on Ubuntu Server 10.04. It has postfix, dovecot 1.2.19, LDAP and squirrelmail as the webmail. I have also created virtual users accounts on the system through LDAP. I can send and receive mails which is great. Now, what I am trying to do is to set up a vacation auto-reply on the

Deliver limit based of number of destination recipients and size of mails, any option to do that?
I have a mail server with postfix, dovecot (1.2.15) and deliver lda (dovecot) with 350 users. I have the problem that in this christmas the employees are sending some big files (mainly powerpoints files) to a lot of recipients, because of that the server get a lot of charge (is a Xeon quad core 5405 with 4GB of Ram), i have four disks in Raid 5 configuration (HP E200 controller, not very fast) Is

OT -- apcupsd messages
Does anyone here have any "feel" for the "Battery disconnected" and "Battery reattached" log entries? The rebooting came as a result of me turning off modems, router, external drives, monitor, cordless phone and finally, the computer, trying to locate a quiet but annoying "chirp". The "chirps" stopped when I tilted the UPS to look at the front

Deliver *sometimes* delivers via /tmp?
Hi, I'm running dovecot (1.1.7) deliver and sieve (1.1.5) on a Fedora 9 platform, using selinux targetet mode. Most of the mail deliveries goes well, but once deliver tried to copy the mail to the /tmp directory, which it seems it not allowed by selinux. I guess that deliver wants to sanitize the mail or something and therefore copies it to /tmp. Before I ask for selinux to allow this, I

Dovecot - spam training through Outlook
Greetings everyone. My dovecot mail server doesn't execute *train-spam.sh* script I set, when moving an e-mail from "Inbox" to "Junk" within Outlook. However, it does it fine when using an online webmail client a.k.a. Roundcube Webmail. Here are few lines from my maillog file showing the situation. Any idea would be much appreciated. Log output of the mentioned process:

Recipient delimiters, deliver and SQL databases
Hi! As a new user, I'm trying to set up a postfix + dovecot combination, and so far all is running smoothly. I'm using the guidelines that came with postfix and adjusting them as I go. My user and alias database is stored in MySQL, using the scheme from 'PostfixAdmin' (http://high5.net/page9.html) and I am using the dovecot LDA 'deliver' to drop messages into mailboxes

Junda-tech
Hi, I have an UPS with only the marking D1000 on it and it came with Junda-Tech's UpsMate. Its USB id is 3344:0025, which is apparently a microprocessor. I've could get some of the HID interactions as described on the website, but there are some outstanding. Junda-Tech does not respond to any queries. Does anybody else have the same or a similar UPS with more information? What is the

Defaults of CentOS Install not working with SELinux
Following a hard drive corruption I have reinstalled the latest version of CentOS and all current patch files. For most applications I selected the default options. By doing this I expected that the packages would play nice with one another and I could customize as necessary. Setting SELinux to enforce I encountered all sorts of problems - but most were resolvable, save for Dovecot,

accessing bcc recipients in ActionMailer view
Apologies if this has been covered already, but I haven''t been able to turn anything up after a bit of searching. I have an app that sends out a mail to a large bcc list. I''d like to be able to add some personalization to the mail (you know, something like "Hi, person X, thanks for being on our huge mailing list!") but I''m not sure how to access the mail object

VM notification to multiple email recipients
Hi all, I've got a user who wants to receive voicemail notifications at two different email addresses. I could probably setup an alias in /etc/aliases, but then I'd have to manage that across multiple servers, which I don't want to do. Is there a way I can tell Asterisk to send to multiple addresses?
