KDE Upgrade from 3.3.1 to 3.4.2
I have downloaded the required KDE files (version 3.4.2)(I know what all files are required), and tried to simply upgrade using the rpm -Uvh command. But i began getting dependency problems. Now, what I did was searched google like a mad buffalo :P to find that missing files, and was successful to a great extent. But the weird thing was I got a few conflicts, which I can't around with. Installing Samba 4 on Redhat 6.
Hi - Samba 3 had been running for years on a Redhat 6 box that I can't upgrade. Suddenly it stopped allowing windows client to access it. Yum has come up with a list of 71 packages it wants to remove, even though there were only 33 kernel-related RPMs in the list. this

railish icons?
This is a little off topic but someone here knows, I''m sure... Does anyone have a good site to find freely available standard icons for things like add/edit/delete/save? I''m looking for a set of clean and simple matching icons that capture that Railsy-Web 2.0 feel... Maybe icons aren''t Railsy... Steven -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

installing kde using up2date
Hi, I have already installed 4.2 on my laptop, I only chose GNOME at install time. I now need to use up2date to install kde (I wish to install twinkle softphone). What is the correct way to do that. I did: up2date kde* up2date -u kde* up2date -i kde* It printed a listing of the packages but did not install them. Thanks, Jerry
